Couples United Kingdom, April 18, 2013	A little bit of paradise Location, Location, Location 8.7 We discovered Koh Jum whilst trying to plot our way back from Ko Lanta to Krabi airport , We were reluctant to go back to the mainland after previously having had to endure 3 nights in the tourist wasteland of Ao Nang. The hotel is surprisingly easy to reach, you are picked up by longtail boat from the Ferry around 40 minutes after departing Ko Lanta. From the moment i arrived at this hotel i knew that this was what i had dreamed of experiencing in Thailand, it is beautiful. The bungalows are located up some very steep steps from the beach and i have to say that if you are looking for luxury then you are defiantly in the wrong place, rooms are simple with just a bed, a mosquito net and a fan, i also hope you do not mind lizards because you will be sharing a room, if these things put you off then that is a shame because you are missing what feels like the real Thailand. The owner and her family are lovely, the beach is stunning and the island is refreshingly underdeveloped which leaves you felling that you are finally seeing some real thai culture in the south which has it seems been destroyed by tourism in some places. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel.

Couples United Kingdom, March 25, 2013	Thai beach bungalow fun Unique location, great staff 7.7 Jungle Hill Bungalow is a collection of traditional Thai thatched wood huts on the steep mountainside overlooking the beach - some have sea views, some look out onto the jungle canopy. The staff are fantastic, super friendly and funny, and serve up great food in the restuarant. Beach gets stunning sunsets with only the bungalow guests around

Couples Canada, March 22, 2013	Good Budget Spot on a Very Slow-Paced Island Beach, Supper, Quiet 7.7 This is very rustic accommodation; There are half-inch gaps in the plank floors, and a small monkey came into the bathroom and tried to steal my razor. The beach is brown river silt rather than white sand, and the snorkeling is pitiful. The stairs are of varying heights, and they are plentiful. That said, it's a well-run, quiet place with good food, it's very quiet, and you can swim, read, and sunbathe quite happily.
