Couples Canada, January 03, 2013	Friendly family run place very close to the beach Very friendly staff, close to the beach 8.7 overall we had a good experience on koh lanta. the hotel was a bit noise at times but still nice. breakfast was good too with great quality bread! we rented scooters from the coconut bungalows up the road and they were great too. would have preferred hot water showers especially after a rainy day! Shopping Tip: Took a tuk tuk motor bike ride into saladan town one night to see the night market and have dinner. It was a nice change from the beach. Thai cat restaurant on the beach was great too!!

Groups Japan, December 23, 2012	Do not look further Open-air foyer, lovely staff, clean room 9.3 i found best house last year by fluke and looked no further this year to return to. while i was there i could see other guests arriving who are also repeaters, greeted by staff as if old friends. if you do not mind not to be in freestanding bungalows, i think best house suits families, group of friends, and solo travellers. the open-air communal area is lovely, although it is not facing the beach i spent some hours sitting there and read a book picked from the library. Hotel Feature Tip: They serve some nice breakfast but it is not a restaurant so takes a long time to serve. Alternatively, go to Somewhere Else restaurant facing the beach, that is 1 minute walk.

Lovely owners, clean rooms with private balcony, 30 seconds from the beach 9.7 the owners are so friendly and helpful here, rooms are spacious with a good fan and private balcony - cleaned every day! its a 30 second walk to long beach, set back for a bit of quiet. we booked for 1 night and ended up staying for 5 as we loved it so much. highly recommend! Shopping Tip: There is a shop just opposite Best House which is great, has cheap cold beer, snacks and mosquito coils etc! Open till midnight which we found really helpful.
