This island forms the most southern district of Thailand's Krabi province. It was known long ago by its name in the Malay language, 'Pulao Satak,' which means 'Long Beach Island.' Later, many Thais, both Buddhist and Muslim, came to live on the island an it became known as the island of 'a million eyes,' which is the literal translation from Lanta in Thai. Guests of this resort can relax with a welcome drink upon arrival and a hearty breakfast every morning. Airport transfers are available and the resort offers a late (2pm) check-out option for guests. Day trips to other islands are one of the big selling points here.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Rent a moped for your stay, at 750 baht it ends up being cheaper than catching tuk tuk everywhere.

Landscape of hotel needs more attention, we were missing flowers and fruits.
- Travel tip : Good for families and for Swedish (animation), good Thai restaurant beside hotel at the beach, Mo's Restaurant at the opposite of Twin Lotus Hotel with very good food.
