Great hotel right near the ocean

The hotel is a great value for the price. You are steps from the ocean, and the pool is great. Breakfast is the same every morning, but it is a buffet with plenty of good options. You are a bit of ways from anything else, but you can walk to 7-11 (it gets a bit dark on the path at night, though). There were a few too many bugs in my room, but other than that it was a great stay!

Cute hotel neighbouring the Andaman sea

I enjoyed my stay at Golden Bay Cottage. The hotel is situated very close to the beach, the service has been very nice, the cleaning staff has done a very good job and I have felt very appreciated as a guest.
The pool area looks amazing, although there were some problems with the cleanliness of the pool during my stay. There is a hotel restaurant with very nice staff, which serves good food, especially traditional Thai food, but also very nice grilled skewers.
Sometimes the wifi was experiencing problems, but it worked most of the time.
Overall: a good stay at a wonderful place!
Restaurant Tip:
Koala bar, at the southern part of Klong Dao Beach, has an amazing frozen strawberry daiquiri!

Location is great - it's immediately on the beach! Unfortunately, they only have 8 beach chairs for the entire resort, so wake up early to get one.
The resort is so-so considering how much a low-end bungalow costs. The restaurant was too expensive for us.
Buffet breakfast was amazing though. Best I've had in Thailand!
Restaurant Tip:
Don't eat at the Golden Bay Restaurant because it's too expensive. Just stroll south down the beach for cheaper options.
