The food was very good in the restaurant, breakfast was amazing! Service is very good. There's a real eye for detail here!

- Hotel Feature Tip : Instead of taking the hotel transfer which costs 1500 bht per person per way, you can try taking your own transport to the hotel. From Krabi town, you can buy ferry tickets at Khao Ka Ferry Terminal to Ko Lanta for 350bht per person per way, and once you've reached Ko Lanta's Saladan terminal, you can take a motorbike taxi for about 200bht to the hotel.

Don't waste your time on a dinner buffet, right on the beach you can find lots of cheap massage, use a free ferry pick up on the arrival.

Overall - you get good value for your money. I would not hesitate to choose this hotel once more.
- Restaurant Tip : Try the restaurant "Same same, but different" some miles south of the hotel. The taxi driver would know the place.

The pool, garden, and the beach are not very clean, and the seawater is generally not very clean.

This is a lovely place for a romantic getaway. All their rooms are sea facing, it's a beautiful scenery to wake up to. There's a DVD player in the room so you can veg out in your room if you're burnt from all the tanning. The spa packages at the resort are pretty good - I went for a Swedish massage, and fell asleep at one point - which means it was effective, I think.
Also, there are tours departing from the resort should you wish to go island hopping, diving or anything of that sort. It's very convenient for resort guests.
Daily, there are activities like beginner's tennis, Thai cooking lessons, movie slots, kids' activities, sunset cruise etc. Almost Club Med-like.
The resort caters to children, too. There's a kids' playroom and even strollers for rent. They've thought of everything!
It's the little details that count for me. The fruit platter in the room, the separate shower in the bathroom (rather than showering in the bathtub), the welcome drink (especially refreshing after traveling 2 hours from the airport).
Service is good at the resort, the staff are very attentive at The Watermark restaurant.
