Location, easy access to anything else on island, friendly and helpful staff. 9.7 Friendly greeting and given juice. Upgraded to a garden view, but I think any of the rooms would have been nice. The ocean views looked especially lovely with a constant shore breeze. Service was efficient and friendly. Breakfasts were standard "american" and edible. Daily room service without asking. Rooms very large and clean. Pool with waterfall and decks great. Lots of lounge chairs, padding and umbrellas available, even on the beach. Beach lovely but we found little snorkelling. Walked the beach at night for supper outings. Many restaurants available. Shopping within walking distance and scootered easily around the island. Lovely place to lay your head.

Nothing flash but a comfortable stay. staff were friendly and food, including breakfast was good if not too exciting. hotel is well located - klong nin beach was a good base to travel from. we hired a motorbike and enjoyed exploring the island over 3 days.
