A good value for money resort.
Quiet location, yet close to all amenities available on Long Beach. Individual, well spaced out bungalows with terraces and a small garden/parking space.
8.3
our bungalow was comfortable for our needs.it had a large double bed, plenty of storage, two chairs and a coffee table, fridge, tea and coffee making equipment and a television. on the front terrace there was a table and two chairs, and a rear terrace that we used to dry clothes on. the bathroom had a hot shower, toilet and sink. our room was cleaned on a daily basis by friendly staff. the air conditioning was efficient and quiet. there were two good sized swimming pools. breakfasts offered a variety of choice. management and staff were friendly and helpful.
the bungalow showed its age, in particular the bathroom. for the majority of our three week stay the water supplied to our bungalow was brown. the television had numerous channels most of which were in thai. wi fi strength was variable and unreliable. the bungalows are situated on a steep slope. visitors with mobility problems may find access difficult without transport.
overall a pleasant stay and one that we would like to repeat
Travel tip:
Opposite the resort entrance is the Coffee Club. Without doubt a great coffee at a great price.

On first impressions, this looked like a great hotel, but after putting our bags down, cracks began to appear. The rooms are actually fairly large bungalows and look great from the outside, but once inside, its a different story. The bathroom was by far the worst we have experienced on our month long trip. Green water and a terrible stench meant that for the 2 days we stayed, we could barely go inside. We complained and were told that the whole of koh lanta's water is like that, which is an outright lie. The T.V in The room didnt work and we had to complain a few times before they did anything about it. Also the pool is like acid and burns your face when you get in. For the price they charge, there is a lot better in Koh Lanta

Not very pleasant, rooms not cleaned, smell of fungus, shower had no hot water or no pressure, no bottle of water on entry, even though it is advertized, no one awake to check out at 8 am

Good hotel. The beach is just 3 blocks
7.3
everything is ok.
just some things you have to know:
the place where the bungallows are is big, so maybe you will have a walk to your bungallow if its not one of the first.
its not near the pier, and near the zone with all the restaurants, but for 100 baths you can take a tuk tuk and in ten minutes you'll be ther
nice pool.

beach huts without the sand - magic
helpful staff, spotless huts
6.7
We stayed over Christmas n New Years, for a couple weeks, and it was lovely. We messed up our arrival date, and were worried our room would've been given away, but the manager was so so helpful and found us a house.
The location is pretty good, its not seafront, but it's a short walk to the beach. The bottom pool is small and very over-chlorinated, but the top one was good.
The hut was super clean, though the bathroom smelt a bit funky, and the door was broken for a day or two. But the air-con, tv, fridge etc were all tip-top, and we enjoyed our stay.
Brekkers was a bit samey after a while - eggs, ham, and toast, and fried rice - but that was probably because we stayed so long.
The only negative was when we checked out, and were asked to pay 150 baht for a glass I'd broken. Considering how long we had been staying, and the worth of the glass, it seemed a bit petty, and just dampened our impression of the resort.
Restaurant Tip:
Galaxy bar does ace pad thai, and if you're craving a proper English roast, the Irish embassy is purrfect.

Surly staff and smelly plumbing
It's located on Koh Lanta

We spent the day away from our hotel as much as possible as unfriendly staff, unclean water and noxious odors in our room made staying at the hotel less than enjoyable. At one time I went into the restaurant during the dinner hour, asked the woman behind the counter to look at a menu, and she literally threw the menu down on the counter in front of me. I turned and walked out.
Oh, the free breakfast was terrible. Instant coffee is not coffee and should be struck from this earth!

Not so good as expected or the brouchure

We thought this should be a great place to stay and booked on internet for 6 nights. The room was large and ok. But the whole place is a bit wear down.
The worst thing in our room was the bathroom. Dangerous cables in the shower. And black mold all over the rotten door so the smell was really awfull. We always cept the door shut and only went in when we really had to.
We asked the staff to do something about the bathroom and they cleaned it and drown it in some smelly spray. The smell didnt go away ofcourse (because of the mold).
This place is really lower than its proclame and prices. No good value for the money.
Would not stay there again.

A lot of mosquito in the hotel. The breakfast is not that nice, and they didn't clean the room for 2 days. Overall a bad experience.

9.7
We stayed in a private bungalow which was really good value for money. It was very quiet at night but in an excellent location near restaurants. You have your own nice balcony with chairs. The rooms are big and spacious and kept clean. The reception was helpful.Just a few minutes walk to the beach and a seven eleven nearby.
Restaurant Tip:
We had a meal in a restaurant called Retro which was nice.
