(Owner) and the staff at Lanta Mermaid Boutique House Hotel run an extremely impressive operation. The grounds are nicely decorated and immaculately kept, while service leaves you constantly wondering why you didn't have to pay 5 star prices? Breakfast was one of the most comprehensive we've had on our journeys in Thailand, and served with the care and consideration of some of the kindest, friendly employees we've ever met. Mr. Chai and the staff attend to your every need, arranging transport to and from the ferry port, able to discuss and knowledgeable about island snorkeling/diving tours,restaurant recommendations, and able to arrange motorbike rentals at a moment's notice. We left to Koh Phi Phi knowing we were leaving behind something very unique and special, which we have never before and not since found again. - Thanks & Staff for a great stay on Koh Lanta!!!!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Rent a motorbike and go down the Western Coast - Old town is just that - old, and looking more now like a ghost town unfortunately.

Okay hotel in Ko Lanta

Overall a good hotel worth staying a few nights. Breakfast is custom made and sufficient.
I did not like the one page sheet rules presented at check nor the THB4,000 charged as deposit. Refund at check out however was quick and without problems.

We were there at beginning and end of our Lanta tour for 4 days. it was one of the the best and nicest stays we had during our 8 weeks through vietnam, cambodia and thailand.
very nice staff and such a good breakfast. The helpful manager Chai gave us also tips for a bungalow in the south of lanta, which was very very nice and organized us tickets to ko jum.
this hotel is highly recommended!

Rent a motorbike for driving over the island!!!

Amazing hotel and service

right from our arrival off the ferry at koh lanta to us reluctantly leaving three days later, the service at this family hotel was second-to-none. the rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, the hotel staff couldn't do enough for us, and there are lovely touches like a book loan service and mats for the beach which are free of charge. the breakfasts are fantastic, and the family who run the hotel have a wealth of local knowledge and can recommend restaurants, book transfers or day trips, and generally take the stress out of your stay. the value for money is exceptional - we would happily pay twice what we paid and still feel that we had got a good deal.
Travel tip:
Take mosquito repellent to the beach as there are quite a few mozzies around on the short walk back to the hotel which come out around 4pm.

Gorgeous CLEAN little hotel not far from the port
The design is especially attractive, it's very clean, and the management is very helpful. The breakfast is a serious bonus too!

The owners of the hotel are extremely helpful. They organised my tours for me, helped me get my laundry done and even cooked a lovely english breakfast. I was especially impressed with the design of the hotel. The rooms are exceptionally pretty for this price range and they are very comfortable and spacious. I also appreciated the great care the owners take to keep everything clean. There is an air of peacefulness not only in this hotel but also in the whole surrounding area. I would highly recommend staying here.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
When you walk down to the beach, if you walk on to the actual sand and out a few meters, turn to your right and you will see a tent with yellow and blue material swatches offering massages for 300 baht. I can not recommend that stand highly enough. The massages there were the best I got on the whole of my trip. So peaceful and...perfect.

Stayed here for over a week could not fault it ..mr chai is the perfect host a perfectionist..his staff are so polite and everything is top quality furnishings decor etc rooms have everything you will need fridge. Hot drinks plenty of clothes space..wi fi in rooms.. Outdoor shower to use after beach .great

We really enjoyed our stay. Service was excellent and staff were very friendly. Rooms are modern, spacious, very clean and well equipped. Rooms had a TV, safe, fridge, small balcony and great views. Breakfast was good and there were restaurants within walking distance (or a short and cheap ride into town). Close to the beach. Great place to stay for a quiet and relaxing holiday. Free wifi.
