A very pleasant stay but it had an inauspicious beginning when the hotel failed to have a driver waiting for me at Saladan Pier. This was an arrangement we had agreed via email in the days before my arrival so it was most annoying to be left waiting. Great swimming pool and the garden bungalows to the rear of the property represent excellent value for money. Breakfast not included in room fees.

Relaxing Stay; Good value for money

Our family had a very relaxing stay. The area where the resort is located is rural and quiet. The resort is on the beach making it very convenient. During low tide rocks appear making it difficult to swim where the resort is located. However, we walked 5 minutes up the beach where there were no rocks and were able to swim. The restaurant, which overlooks the beach and pool, had a varied international menu with great food, and was reasonably priced. Tables were set up on the beach in the evening for dinner. We experienced a beautiful sunset while eating. The pool is big and clean. While lounging at the pool one has a wonderful view of the ocean. However, there are not enough lounge chairs at the pool area (only 12). Guests who came early would leave their towel or some other belonging on the chair so as not to lose the chair when going away for lunch, for a swim in the ocean, or back to their room for whatever reason. There is a small mini mart outside the entrance of the resort. In order to shop or find other restaurants (other than restaurants at other nearby resorts) you would need to pay 100 - 150 baht per person to travel to town which is about 10-15 minutes away by tuk tuk.. Overall, we had a great stay.

Loved every minute

We stayed 3 nights in standard bungalow and then extended our stay for another 3 in a superior bungalow. Each had similar size and design, the main difference was the bathroom with the standard having a much more basic set up.
We loved the surroundings and location, so relaxing and the staff are so accommodating and friendly, probably the best service we have had in Thailand.
The restaurant is good value (a change from most resorts!) and the food is delicious. The head waiter is fab, he is old school remembering you and what you like (spicy mussaman yum!).
Probably the only hotel I would love to go back to - see how the money is next year :-)
