relaxed family run, friendly resort
caring staff, great masseur on site, early morning swim right on tap.

Air con rooms with fridge on the beach much better than fan rooms, even though occasional power cuts on the island meant sometimes ac went off in the night!
Beds comfortable but sheets too thin so slid around in the night. Rooms cleaned on request.
Breakfasts nice but avoid the "ham" and "sausage!" Muesli and pancakes delicious. Other food ok, but too sweet to be authentic. Nice beach bar but don't order the wine, twice the price of every other bar!
Mptorobike rental, flights bookings, transfers to airport etc, all available right there.
Staff were kind and helpful with our sick daughter, helping us to get taxi to hospital, getting us another room to stay on although full, bringing food to room, etc.
Quiet at night, without the horrible music of some bars!
Only shade available during the day is chargeable beach loungers, the big tables in the cafe area have no shade.
Restaurant Tip:
Go next door for the best cocktails, happy hour till 8! For great authentic food, take moborbike to Viewpoint Restaurant on the road to Old Lanta, and the wooden decked restaurant on Old Lanta itself. Best breakfast is over the road at Cook Kai, but their dinners are still too sweet and bland. Best barbecue is at Rickeys along the beach.
Don't walk alone on the beach between the busy resort areas (ie back from Rickeys) at night. Tourists are attacked and robbed.

Big room, good restaurant

We stayed for 4 or 5 nights, and really enjoyed our stay. The room was easily large enough for an extra bed as we are a family of 4. The resort is divided into 2 sections. The section on the beach side of the road has the more expensive rooms with a/c and mini bars. We stayed across the road in a fan room. It was pretty hot and we were tempted to move to an a/c room but they were quite a bit more $$ so we toughed it out. Although we were across the road from the beach, it was still very good access. The room was big but spartan. There wasn't even a TV stand - the TV just sat on the floor, which was kind of funny. There was no maid service while we were there.

Chambre propre et spacieuse, le personnel est toujours souriant. Bien situé pour allier le repos et la visite de l'île en scooter.
rien à redire sur les chambres, très bon rapport qualité prix.

Trevligt ställe på många vis.Myror på rummet var ett minus. Hjälpsam personal på alla vis.Stannade bara 1 natt så jag kan inte säga så mycket mer..
