With the cliffs in the background, and the beach just walking distance away in the foreground, the area is protected under the National Park. It takes a little over two hours to get to Lanta, which include two ferry rides. Water sports are the main activity of the island, and scuba diving and snorkeling produce rich, colorful rewards with tropical fish and colorful coral. The town center of Saladan is walking distance and is filled with shops, and dining and entertainment venues. The best way to explore this island with a 500 year old gypsy population is on a bicycle or on foot. After the swimming and sightseeing, the restaurant is a good place to relax offering good Thai and western food, and a walk along the gardens completes a perfect day.

the pool were the best with the hotel and the bungalow were also good. located a few meters from the beach, good.

the breakfast were not the beach. not the worst i have eaten but not the best either.

we had a nice stay at lanta resort. the bungalow were cosy and the pool were really nice. the beachbottom were not the best, a lot of stones and things like that. almost everyone in the stab were helpful. one thing wich wasn´t so good was that it were a bit walkingdistance to foodstores. it wasn´t any stores near the hotel. disregard from that we had a nice stay at lanta resort.

The pool area is very nice and also the stretch of beach can be seen!

Service, unreliability of the staff, ants in the breakfast

The service and the effort of the staff at this hotel is a real disaster. We already have in many Thai hotels usual, but have never seen such a bad service. To name just a few things to mention, was a transfer with a lot of small car and a collision with a cow, on discolored laundry, a boat booked on transfer and a moldy bungalow, everything. From this large investment, one could make a lot, but unfortunately lacks the commitment of the hotel management.

Hotel Feature Tip : The massage next to the Lanta Sand Resort was very good.
