Deilig med pool access
Restauranten, stranden, bassenget.

Nydelig hotell, pool Access rommene er konge, nydelig mat ved strandrestauranten, hyggelig betjening, veldig pen strand. koster 20kr med tuc tuc inn til byen.
Varmtvannet i dusjen er det eneste negative da det er veldig ustabilt.
Og all myggen som vaskedamen slipper inn på rommet mens hu vasker.

Dirty water of the bathroom
Easy to find the location, peaceful beach, comfortable bed

We had to take a shower with dirty water(reddish-brown) for 3 days of our staying period.The staff only told that it's the result of cleaning tank. Amazing, cleaning tank all 3 days!!! There was a lot of mosquitos.Please correct these problems.

Nice environment and beach - be aware of details
Clean. Flexibility in rooms. Nice beach. Good breakfast.

We got married on the beach here, celebrated the wedding dinner for 27 there,, stayed approx 15 people in different types of rooms, and spent about 2 weeks at the hotel, so I guess we have a good general view of what the Lanta Resort can offer.
Pros
Clean rooms and environment
Selection of rooms to suit different needs
Good breakfast with European and Asian dishes
Nice pool area and nice beach
Close to many good beachside restaurants
Prices at poolbar/restaurants are very good, and mostly it tastes fantastic
Tuktuk/car to and from Saladan is fixed price of 50 bath per adult (free for children)
Perfect sunsets :)
Cons
Be aware of the distance from main hotel buildings and beach - approx 4-500 meters walk, poorly lit at night
Some bungalows are older/newer. Clear difference in condition and experience. Get the new one!
High ambition in service, in reality they can't even remember who ordered what in a simple order of food for 4 people

Enjoyable stay, although issues with hot water..either not working-called for repair 3 times..or runs out
Restaurant Tip:
Not many seemed to eat at Lanta restaurant but walked down beach to local restaurant Thai Cat

Lanta resort should be a 2-star hotell, not 4. This is bad even to be in Thailand. Roosm were not clean. Sheets were used. water in the toilet brown/yellow. Wifi for free in lobby and pool, never worked... Safetybox which needed key

very spread out over a large area.
nice bungalows by the beach at one end with restaurant and beach access.
sea can be a bit rough and rocky there.
Nice pool and very well suited for families.

Pool is nice and also direct access to the beach at the rear of the hotel.
Very close to the pier/town as there is not much on the island.

Rooms were spacy and clean, not too expensive. Place near beach, and by scooter (which were rentable from hotel for good price) you can find better beaches from southern Lanta. Lots of scandinavian travellers, especially swedish. Only minus was obligated New Years gala dinner which was dissapontment referred to cost of it.

Serious remodeling needed

This resort looks very dated and could use a serious upgrade. Our room was simple but clean. In high season this resort is way to over priced and so not worth the money - we paid $170 USD per night, half of it would be an adequate price for what you get. Staff can speak almost no English and any email communication prior to our stay was not even answered - we wanted to confirm a late arrival. We can not recommend this hotel and would certainly never stay there again.
Nightlife Tip:
Very cool bars and restaurants on the beach! Check out the Country Club and Thai Cat.
