A lovely, peaceful place right by the beach!
I really don't know why some people haven't liked this place. It's really not over priced at all! Clean rooms and friendly staff.

After reading others comments about this place we almost didn't book it. I'm happy we did! We had the cheapest room and weren't expecting a lot but got really positively surprised when we saw the room! It was clean, roomy enough for two people and the bathroom was ok too. I don't know where the complaining customers have been but our room was totally ok!
Restaurant by the beach was nice, a bit overpriced though. Staff was very friendly. But i'd advice to respect the fact that it's a place run by muslims, so please have deacent clothing on!
Beach was really peaceful and clean and the sunsets were breathtaking!
I'd really recommend this place for someone who's travelling on budget but doesn't wanna stay in the hustle and bustle by the pier of lanta.

Lovely bungalow!
Close to restaurant and beach.

We loved our stay at the Lanta Riviera Resort...close to the beach, restaurants, and massages!
The only thing that needed fixing was our bathroom sink faucet.
We would definitely recommend the bungalow...great vist at a very reasonable rate.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
We went on two snorkeling tours and saw amazing fish and the tour to the Emerald Cave was outstanding!

awful hotel, rude staff and appaling rooms

When we first arrived at lanta Riviera we were struck by how old, worn and unlike the photos the rooms were. They are currently renovating new bungalows at the front, however our room had broken furniture, a barely working shower and looked nothing like the pictures. The staff were rude, especially the male receptionist, we asked to go to the pharmacy then the beach in their taxi and were taken everywhere but. The beach is nothing like the pictures and covered in rocks so you will need to go to long beach if you want to swim. The only plus point is the freedom bar which is chilled and relaxing, you can play pool for free and watch the beautiful sunsets over the water.

overall the experience has been average, the room rates are on the high side comparing with other hotels in the same area.
freedom bar is great to chill out, very comfortable and relaxing and right on the beach.
big problem though is that there isn't a lot going on near the hotel area. you need to hire a motorbike or tuk-tuk to get out.
Restaurant Tip:
there is a local restaurant just across the main road, it's run by a family with the father being the chef and the sons helping out. their food is great and very reasonably priced.

Le personnel à été tres agreable tout le séjour et la piscine rend le lieu reposant. Le Lanta riviera est propre et bien entretnue. Endroit ideal pour les familles ou entre amis qui cherchent un endroit calme et pas tres cher.

แต่ไม่มีเครื่องอำนวยความสะดวกใดๆเลย อันนี้ก็ถือว่าไม่ได้ มาตรฐานแล้ว แต่เมื่อดูสภาพผ้าห่มในห้อง
เป็นผ้าปูเตียงสีขาวซึ่งเป็นผ้าผ้าบาง ออกไปถามพนักงานว่ามีอะไรผิดพลาดหรือไม่ คุณลืมให้ผ้าห่มรึเปล่า
เพราะที่ได้มาคือผ้าปูเตียง พนักงาำนก็บอกว่าตามนั้น สำหรับห้องประเภทนี้ แย่มาก เป็นโรงแรมที่ไม่ได้มาตรฐานเลย
ไม่ขอแนะนำดรงแรมนี้ ไม่ควรสนับสนุนดรงแรมที่เอาเปรียบผู้บริโภคแบบนี้

Грязный пляж и отель с краю от села
в нашем номере (стандартном) не было ничего кроме кровати и вентилятора)

ланта- это не тот остров где можно насладиться красивыми пейзажами, да и этот отель этому не способствует..
Nightlife Tip:
Ночной жизни никакой кроме сидения в кафешке.. За этим лучше на Пхи-Пхи..

Mycket trevlig personal helt okej på englska.
Deras bar (Freedom Bar) Extremt trevlig på alla sätt.
Man kunde glida ner dit och ta en öl och bara vara och spela lite pool och fyra i rad.
Lite avskilt från "huvudstaden" sala daan men det kostar mellan 150-200 baht för 2 pers att åka dit med tuk tuk
