Couples Austria, April 15, 2013	Not sufficient Only nice thing is the good view, but not really worth it because of the poor restaurant there! 2.7 We were picked up at the pier accidently because I think the hotel owner wanted to pick up somebody else. Rooms were large but rotting away, no proper mosquito net, disgusting furniture and the worst was the bathroom, you could feel the athlete's foot when going in there even with shoes.

One night would suffice. Our first room had a disguisting mattress. They only use one sheet so it comes off in the night and you wake up an find yourself on the old mattress. The rooms need to be rebuilt and fixed up. I asked for another room which was alot nicer, but it still was full of caterpillars and other insects. The people are very friendly and the view and food is great. I would recommened one or two nights, maybe more if you have a good room.

A lot of insects (i.e. ants, geckos, spider) in and outside the room. No houskeeping, which bugged us a little. Beautiful view off the cliff. Every morning and evening we had a great start/end of the day. Kantiang Bay really is the most relaxing and peaceful spot in Koh Lanta. In all a great stay with nice staff, but don't expect any exceptional service unless you ask.
