It is the only place that we've have stayed at that goes the extra mile by providing cold water and fruit by the pool.

The resort is one of two upmarket resorts on Ko Lanta, which is primarily a backpacker destination. We visited Layana in May which is classed as 'low season', consequently the beaches were deserted and the backpacker accommodation was pretty much deserted. The resort has exceptionally good management and this is reflected in all aspects - staff training and supervision, quality of accommodation and grounds. The food is good but not excellent although a new menu was in preparation at the time of our stay. If you are looking for somewhere to chill out and where you can be sure of an excellent standard then the Layana resort is a great place to be.
Very, very GOOD

When I stayed it was off-peak so very quiet but it's like your own place. Enjoyed. Also Internet was free in your room. Room is very clean as well.
