Beautiful little hotel~ terrible weather

The hotel was really lovely- especially the beautiful rooms and the fantastic staff. Koh Lanta is not a great place to visit in the shoulder season- May. There were very few shops open and everything was very quiet. It was even difficult to get taxis into the town which is about 5km away from the hotel. I imagine this island and this hotel in peak season with great weather would be incredible!

The bungalow we stayed in was beautiful. The bed was so comfy and it had a great terrace underneath with seating and a hammock. The staff are very helpful and the beach is a short walk away. The only downside is that the restaurant was a little overpriced so we had to go for a bit of a walk every evening to find one more reasonable. We didn't want to leave and would definitely stay here again!

This beautiful hotel is located 5 minutes away by walking from the beach. It has a very nice swimming pool and the room are comfortable. The staff is really friendly and the food excellent. An excellent hotel offering a very good quality-price ratio. Strongly recommended

Stayed 2nights at Room B1 and really enjoyed the nice pool view. Then, I extended my stay two more nights at Room 1 but no good view at all and rather dark room with small window. So it's depend on the room. Short walk to the beach and you can enjoy the sunset too. Staff is nice and helpful. Love Koh Lanta and will visit again.

Pros: Quiet, 5 mins walk to the beach, beautiful swimming pool, rustic and comfortable room if you don't mind the squeaking floor boards as rooms are designed in the style of old South East Asia village houses, open air bathroom and toilet with hot showers and raindrops shower heads. Rooms has all the mod con such as AC, TV, fridge and wifi.
Cons: Too perfect to think of one.

We stayed here last year and chose it again. Rooms are perfect with a lovely shower/washroom next to your living area. Quiet location and a short stroll up to a wonderful beach - lovely restaurant on the beach and lot's of beds etc to choose from.
Would stay here every time !
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Ideally located to explore the whole island easily. Saladan, Lanta Old Town and the Kantiang Bay area are all well worth a visit.

after reading other comments from people who had stayed here, i'm so glad we booked at this hotel. the hotel style of above ground chalets is very unique. we loved it. the grounds, pool and rooms were always kept clean. we really found pooh, the main reception staff member was outstanding. he helped us in everyday possible, even phoning our boat company to get them to pick us up on our departure.
the restaurant staff were also excellent. the meals were very good. we got to eat as much as we wanted.
the beach is only a 5 min or less walk. the beach area is flat and there are lots of beds to lounge on. lym's rice bowl restaurant is the place to eat and drink during the day. great thai food and again, service with a smile!
recommend booking a motorbike and driving into to the main city (10mins). great way to see more of koh lanta.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Walk the beaches, Long Beach is awesome. Rent a motorbike and explore the island.
