We absolutely loved Long Beach Chalet. It was been one of our favourite stays ini our entire three week trip around Thailand. The chalets are great and really nicely designed with easy access to the pool which is lovely and very clean. We started in chalet 4 and it had a great view of the pool. The beach is about a 5 'minute walk away from the hotel. We went during low season so a lot of the beach restaurants were closed but there were still some open. I would really recommend watching the sunset from the beach, its truly beautiful. For good local cuisine I can recommend Mr Greens which is a bout a 5 minute ride away in a tuk tuk. Its cheap and very tasty. the local Restuarant at Long Beach chalet is pretty good but slightly more expensive but the portions are large. Breakfast was great with plenty of variety. If you stay here you will not regret it!!

Beautiful little hotel~ terrible weather

The hotel was really lovely- especially the beautiful rooms and the fantastic staff. Koh Lanta is not a great place to visit in the shoulder season- May. There were very few shops open and everything was very quiet. It was even difficult to get taxis into the town which is about 5km away from the hotel. I imagine this island and this hotel in peak season with great weather would be incredible!

The bungalow we stayed in was beautiful. The bed was so comfy and it had a great terrace underneath with seating and a hammock. The staff are very helpful and the beach is a short walk away. The only downside is that the restaurant was a little overpriced so we had to go for a bit of a walk every evening to find one more reasonable. We didn't want to leave and would definitely stay here again!

This beautiful hotel is located 5 minutes away by walking from the beach. It has a very nice swimming pool and the room are comfortable. The staff is really friendly and the food excellent. An excellent hotel offering a very good quality-price ratio. Strongly recommended

Very good hotel, if you stay in the good room

Stayed 2nights at Room B1 and really enjoyed the nice pool view. Then, I extended my stay two more nights at Room 1 but no good view at all and rather dark room with small window. So it's depend on the room. Short walk to the beach and you can enjoy the sunset too. Staff is nice and helpful. Love Koh Lanta and will visit again.

Pros: Quiet, 5 mins walk to the beach, beautiful swimming pool, rustic and comfortable room if you don't mind the squeaking floor boards as rooms are designed in the style of old South East Asia village houses, open air bathroom and toilet with hot showers and raindrops shower heads. Rooms has all the mod con such as AC, TV, fridge and wifi.
Cons: Too perfect to think of one.
