i have been in Koh lanta for 5 days in Oct ( was a low season) but lucky that the weather is really good!!
Found out that hotel is really nice and not many ppl stay there so made my stay so relax and enjoy Hotel just right to the beach so every morning we can walked up and down the beach!! I love it!! and rent motorbike from the hotel so we can go around the island and find many nice seafood restaurant

The room is perfect, clean and modern style. You can see ocean view direct from the room.Eventhough it is a small hotel but you will enjoy your holiday here.

Modern hotel on the beach. Friendly helpful staff.
None except they are currently adding some sort of a roof top suite so there is some construction noise. I didn't find it very intrusive and most hotels along that beach seemed to be doing some work at the moment - I presume they are all getting ready for the full high season.
This hotel is right on the beach at Khlong Dao, the first beach you come to after the town where the ferry comes. I walked the length of the beach a number of days and, in my view, it was the nicest there. It is constructed in a very modern style - the room I had (I got a free upgrade from the lovely reception staff) was very big and I really liked it. Breakfast is either indoors or outdoors looking out at the beach, depending on what you want and I thought the selection was fine for a hotel of this size. The staff are very nice, although their English isn't wonderful. That said, unless you query is particularly complicated, they should be able to help you and are very anxious to do so. I organised a diving trip through them and was delighted with the operator they used. I didn't eat in their restaurant, barring breakfast, as there is a large selection of restaurants and bars along the beach, all with much more reasonable prices. All in all, a lovely stay in a lovely hotel. By the way, if you are coming from the main town, a songthaew shouldn't cost more than 50 baht per person and its best to ask for the "Maya Lanta" - none of the locals seem to know that its a Best Western.
Restaurant Tip : I did a Thai cooking course one evening in 'Time for Lime' - walk out of the hotel onto the beach, look left and you'll see a large lime green flag. I'd highly recommend the course, and also the restaurant there too. I'd also recommend the two restaurants to the right of the hotel on the beach - very reasonable and lovely seafood. (The nearest one also has cheap broadband on the ground floor).
