Maya Koh Lanta Hotel, Koh Lanta (Krabi)

Wow what a hotel. The room was big and clean and had all facilities one could ask for. The staff spoiled us and their service was fantastic. The view over the ocean was incredible and we watched the sunset from our comfy bed every night. Stay here if you are visiting Koh Lanta. You won't be disappointed.

Small hotel with extremely stylish rooms all sea facing. The staff were very helpful and friendly although communication was a problem due to poor grasp of english. The beach here was good, better than the other beaches I thought, even though you don't get the isolated feeling other resorts offer since it is quite close to town. This can be an advantage and a disadvantage at the same time. The rooms are all spacious with large TV, DVD player and CD, bath and shower.

This great small neat hotel (17 rooms) is everything it promises and more. Nicely located directly on a relatively quiet stretch of the island's central beach. The hotel is quite new and the rooms are up to all standards. They have dvd, sound system, tv, good beds, etc. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly and will try to accomodate your every wish. If, for instance, you want to swim after pool hours, they will gladly turn on the lights for you being only concerned that there is no staff to service you. Nice pool bar with great bartenders. It's just beautiful. Yes, as mentioned in other reviews, sometimes a stray dog may show up as everywhere else in Thailand, but the staff will gently nudge it off the property. And yes, after excessive rain there might be some smell of sewer somewhere on the complex - again, just as everywhere else in Thailand. But staff will be all over the place to fix it asap. Conclusion: best hotel on our trip. Absolutely recommended.
