The bungalows were lovely and the shower in the open air refreshing.
Those little bridges to walk on and every night you were guarded by a sleeping dog outside your house. The hard beds could be a bit softer. I really liked our stay in our beautiful bungalow with banana trees and hibiscus surrounding it. The decoration of the bungalow was stylish and the open air shower a new experience. It was very different from the ordinary hotels and so charming especially with the bridges and the dogs guarding us at night. And the bar down at the beach is worth a visit both days and nights.
Restaurant Tip : There is a really nice bar down at the beach "The Corner". So good to stop there on your way home from the beach and lie down for a cold Chang.

When we ate at their restaurant they had a blanket for a cat in the corner. The cat played around and killed two mice while we were waiting for the food. The staff saw this and tried to get the cat away from the restaurant floor. They took the cat into the kitchen. Only stay at the place if there is absolutely nothing else.
Restaurant Tip : Great sandwich at the beach at a Swedish place beside the bar.

The hotel is situated very close to the beach, although there is no shade on the beach and the ocean is very rocky. In my opinion not suitable for young children. The beach bar at the bottom of Mook Lanta is wonderful, a great way to relax and finish the evening.
Restaurant Tip : Dont miss a trip to Red Snapper. Great food and setting.
