Located on Lanta Yai Island Krabi, Rawi Warin is geared for active urbanites who would like to relax on one of Thailand's most beautiful islands. The resort features its own pier for guests arriving from Krabi town which has a newly renovated airport. It is also possible to arrange exclusive dining whereby specially created menus can be prepared in the privacy of one of the villas. There's also a personal butler and staff on hand. This hotel is amazing!, great facilities, beautiful rooms, great restaurants just outside the resort. This was the most amazing resort! It is absolutely beautiful, and the staff are so lovely. The resort is so pretty and the restaurants and bar are really nice. To eat in the hotel was a little pricey, but there is a great restaurant just outside the hotel called 36 steak house, two people can have a gorgeous meal for 200 baht! The hotel staff are so helpful, nothing is too much trouble!
Restaurant Tip : 36 steak house, go out of the resort, turn left, it is amazing and sooo cheap!

The service of the staff. And a amasingly beatiful hotel. The food did not match the rest of the hotel standard. This hotel was really great! Me and my boyfriend left there very pleased and relaxed. When we first arrived we got really good service from the reception staff. One thing that is different with this hotel from others is taht it is ver big. We even got a map of the hotel. First I thought that this maybe would be a problem since our room was very far from the restaurant an the "center" of the hotel. But they had lika a small golfcar and picked us upm whenever we felt for it. We stayed here during low season, so we waited for most 5-10 min. The pool area was perfect. Nice oceanview. Big pool. Also a smaller pool with a slide for children. Good for me who don't have children and also for those who have.We were really amased who beatiful this hotel was. The rooms were really clean. Nice fresh bathroom. The only thing I was very disapointed with was the food. It was quite expensive in the restaurant and the food was horrible! I ordered a salmon that still was raw. With a cheese top layer that tasted like vomit. And my boyfriends food was not good either. The breakfast was also not good. So I would not recommend any body to eat here. But I must also say that me and my boyfriend are quite picky with food. But even though the food wasn't so nice. We would absolutely come back to this hotel. If you like smaller and more cozy hotels, maybe this is not for you.
Nightlife Tip : We found a really nice and cozy bar called Opium. Good service good drinks. Realli nice to just sit and talk, and have a couple of drinks.

Beautiful surrounds, stunning infinity pool, friendly and helpful staff (especially in the deli). Mostly to do with the inconsistency in food and drink prices throughout the resort - different prices for items depending on where it was bought, sometimes rather large differences. Also the "fruit platter" was sometimes laughable perhaps just "fruit" would be a better descriptive for two bananas and a pear (left-overs from breakfast perhaps?) After several weeks of traveling this was a much needed relaxation stop and the helpful staff and beautiful surrounds ticked many boxes for us. Before booking we noticed some reviewers complaining about the distance between their rooms and the pool area. This is solved by a complementary 24hr pick up service which is only ever a phone call away. While the distances can be a little annoying at first we found this service was more than helpful (if we didn't feel like the walk) and after all when you book to stay in such a large resort you can't expect every room to be beside the pool! Plus the stunning sunset view from our room was the reward for a few steps.
The only "con" for us at Rawi Warin was to do with the food and drink options within the resort. When staying at this standard of resort I would expect restaurant prices to be high but the quality of the food unfortunately did not meet the high prices and for us was a disappointment which meant we didn't eat there again during our stay. My other annoyance was regarding the different prices for items, such as bottles of water. Buying pool side was almost 3 times the price of purchasing from the resort deli, despite both being purchased from a member of staff. Never mind the fact that the cheapest price inside the resort for a small bottle of water was nearly the same as a 5 litre bottle outside the resort!
A nice and relaxing stay but with a few improvements this resort could be fantastic!
Shopping Tip : Much cheaper laundry service just outside the hotel door!
