great location , very clean and most important a new build so the overall impression is of a bright modern efficiently run establishment. The rooms, the pool and the facilities were excellent Short step from the pool to the beach
Excellent breakfast included but lunch and dinner rather overpriced.
This hotel is well situated on a popular part of the coast and there are a host of restaurants and tourist oriented shops nearby. It has a better pool than Pimalai and the hotel facilities surround a beautiful manmade watercourse. Rooms were excellent and great value given the quality of this resort. The buildings are new and the architecture aesthetically appealing.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : There are an enormous number of restaurants and tour facilites on the beach within walking distance just south of the resort

Quite, remote location, spacious, very nice design of hotel and vacinities
The hotel bar is not impressive
No water for breakfast only sweetend fruit juices
Sand beach but many rocks directly at the waterline (and further on)
A very nice hotel in a stunning environment, nestelled against the hillsides - perfect view to the sea and over the beach from every hotel room. The landscape design of the hotel is purely fantastic!
Right next to the hotel on the beach is also a very nice, very typical Restaurant (Orchid Restaurant from Lanta Paradise Resort) which serves fantastic cusine in a very traditional/backpacker type style. We really enjoyed to each there.
Also the hotel pool is a jewel. All in all a very nice place if you prefer it quieter and more remote. It is defintely not a big "nightlife" place
Restaurant Tip : The Orchid Restaurant just a few meters southward on the beach.

good location, grat pool. food is good and you can take taxi and eat outside as well.

we stayed 6 nights, realy enjoyed it, the place is peacfuul and quiet, the pool is amazing

Nice grounds and pool -- although certainly not 5 star
Rooms are not up to 5 star claims -- towels and linens are hard and mattress is very uncomfortable. Also rooms are in need of upgrades/modernizing
It takes 2 hours to get to the hotel from Krabi Airport (1600 Baht in the Hotel Van per person). After two hours you expect something special and are therefore quite disappointed with the realization that the 5 star resort you thought you were traveling to is at best a 3 star.
The hotel has a generally run-down look and feel. There are none of the nice touches on arrival and the staff on the desk really struggles to communicate.
The pools are OK -- although it would be really hard to get a chair if the hotel was anywhere near full.
The service around the pool was poor at best -- staff do not speak much English and you have to go find them to get any service. Again, not something that you would expect from 5 star.
There were no organized activities that we could find and given that the resort is remote (the highlight of the day is a 10 minute walk to the nearest 7 Eleven!!) it would help if the hotel tried to ensure that the guests had something to do.
Dining was just OK -- the buffet breakfast was poor standard. The choices for lunch were fairly basic. Dinner had more variety, but not what we would expect from a 5 star.
This hotel feels "run down". The management needs to do something to make it more upbeat and they need to sort out how to make the guests think that they at a real 5 star resort
We would not go back and would not recommend.
Restaurant Tip : Across the street is a small local restaurant called Fishermans Friend -- the people were friendly and the food was good

Secluded, ambience, great room service and house keeping, friendly and attentive staff, facilities and pools, views.
Staff having low level comprehension of english, some staff not being that courteous. Wifi only in public areas and not in your room. Getting there is three hours long...
Our stay we found overall relaxing. Upon first visit the ambience and surroundings is quite stunning. Secluded hidden away abode. The higher paid villas are definately beautiful with magnificant views-if the weather allows. The five different pools are great too, the main pool however gets a bit crowded at peak times-perhaps more decking is needed. The activities provided is great! this resort is like a mini city having its own facilitis and shops. I enjoyed the cooking class greatly.

Best view, very remote, cheap shopping and massages in surrounding area.
The rooms were clean and well kept, with interesting landscape eccentuate each villa's characterisctics.
So far from the nearst aiport, Krabi, takes 2 ferry ride on a bus for 2 hours.
Staff does not know how to operate credit card machine, and took a while for them to cancel the charge they've wrongly charged my card with.
The resort is perfectly remote with secluded beach in front of the main pool.
The facilities are very good, completed with a Library, Gym, Diving shop and a tailor (just in case you need a suit for a last minute business meeting on the island...)
Loved the main pool and the pool up on a hill.
Hotel Feature Tip : best to catch an early flight to get there and a late flight to go back, cos it takes up to 3 hours to and from the airport.

Nice pool, nice garden, nice rooms and a very good breakfast
Not value for money in the SPA. No flexibility in reception, had to connect to internet and book through travel agancy when we wanted to prolong our stay with one night.
The SPA treatment did not meet our expectations and did not give value for money. (cold treatment room, jazussi didnt work - they still charged for it :-( and the therapists seemed uininspired and worked like robots). We tryed it once and were not tempted to give it another try
The hotel as such is nice and we had 4-5 pleasant days there. Nice pool, nice rooms and good restaurant.
But; small irritating things (the recetiption staff were very unflexible + bad service in the diving shop) will leadd us to another hotel next time we want to visit Koh Lanta.

beautiful hotel, great rooms.
beach was a bit rocky for swimming, and featured sea pool was not availale due to low season.
dive store staff were not very helpful.
as it was low season there were limited boat trips available for diving etc.
We stayed in a pond view room which happened to have a complete sea view with one of the most stunning views in the morning with sunrise. the hotel is perfect for complete relaxation with a good spa and very scenic surroundings. the food in the main restaurant was exceptional for value and quality and i would definately recommend this hotel for couples or for a quiet getaway.

Very close to the beach and perfect rooms and service if you want to relax. There is a great pool only 20 meters from the beach.
Some of the villa's are up mountain which can be a problem for older people. I would suggest a room near the pool and garden. You can also rent a motor bike to do a tour around the area.

Hotel Feature Tip : Instead of taking the hotel transfer which costs 1500 bht per person per way, you can try taking your own transport to the hotel. From Krabi town, you can buy ferry tickets at Khao Ka Ferry Terminal to Ko Lanta for 350bht per person per way, and once you've reached Ko Lanta's Saladan terminal, you can take a motorbike taxi for about 200bht to the hotel.

Overall - you get good value for your money. I would not hesitate to choose this hotel once more.
Restaurant Tip : Try the restaurant "Same same, but different" some miles south of the hotel. The taxi driver would know the place.
