Chic, traditional thai resort. Lovely setting in a rainforest on the beach. Spacious bungalows. Friendly, helpful staff. Best restaurant for thai food. Fantastic Spa. Very quiet & family friendly Bathroom was basically a wet room with a toilet and was a bit shabby. Beach was a bit boring wth no coral so you couldn't snorkel. Food in the reataurant was overpriced at times (don't have the pizza). Coffee shop was only good for using the internet, otherwise food was disapointing and overpriced. The resort is really relaxed and family friendly. The bungalows were spacious and set in a rainforst setting, it was lovely sitting on the deck in the morning listening to the birds. There were two large, clean pools and the resort is literally on the beach so no need to go far everyday. The staff were extremely helpful and the Spa was the best I've been to... a beautiful, traditional spa and they gave good dicounts to guests. The thai food in the restaurant was the best we had on Ko Lanta. There was also a great Indian restaurant in the next town along called Soi 14, owned by a really nice chap called Wit. Overall we were really happy with where we stayed, having seen the other resorts on the beach. It was an ideal location for catching the ferry from Saladan to the other islands. Only thing I would say about Ko Lanta is that it is a large Island and you would need a 2 week stay to make the most of it. Oh and don't bother with the elephant trek in the next town along, we felt they were treated badly and the baby elephant show was uncomfortable to watch.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The Four Islands day trip by speed boat is worth doing. Really nice people and a lovely day with lots of snorkelling. They also take you to the most beautiful island for lunch.

Big rooms, nice swimmingpool, close to the beach We stayed there in the low season, and it was really 'low'. It was not many guests at the hotel. The stay was very relaxing. We had a family bungalow that was spacious (4 beds) and clean. It was 2 nice swimmingpools, one big close to the reception area and one smaller close to the beach. We got very good service from a friendly staff. I can reccomend this hotel.

Off season - really good value if you are looking for a romantic or family holiday
The bungalows are well maintained and are large and comfortable
The restaurant overlooks the beach and the food is of high quality and at reasonable rates Spoke to the Manager about the cleanliness of the beach in general - the beach in front of the hotel was quite clean but could be improved a little toward the tidal area. The location of the resort is about the best on this particular beach for swimming and cleanliness and great to watch the sun go down. The bakery/coffee house is a plus along with the free internet.
This resort is for those who want a quiet, relaxing time without any hassles but the opportunity to do the things around the area like snorkelling, swimming and sightseeing.
The grounds around the resort are really well maintained so you are staying within a garden.
The 2 swimming pools are good especially the large one near the family accommodation - this is really good
Shopping Tip : What a good place to walk - very limited shopping but absolutely NO HASSLES -
Don't let the boys on the boat organise transport to
the resort - they will rip you off - get a local motorbike with sidecar or taxi when you get to the
wharf
