Great pool and nice appartments
Great location for exploring island but we (including our 3 year old) preferred the beaches at klong dao and klong nin
Could do with tv channels
Description says about enjoying long beach from your balcony - there is no beach view and only sea views from upper floor
Also description of 2 beds a little misleading as 2nd bedroom is actually small sofa bed in lounge
Overall nice and clean, friendly Thai staff. Would stay again if a little cheaper (and we paid 50% discount)
Restaurant Tip:
Red snapper restaurant excellent, also great homemade pasta at cozy guesthouse. Both located on main road by hotel

very nice place for families. big modern apartments and a big pool. not located on the best part of long beach but the beach is still nice at sai naam. good location otherwise with plenty of restaurants nearby.

We were very happy with the overall experience. Our only beef would be that it is slightly over priced. When you are talking value for what you get I would say they are over priced. Enjoyed Ko Lanta and long beach. Marina Restaurant on the beach was excellent food and great bang for your buck
Restaurant Tip:
Marina Restaurant when facing the beach is to the left of Sai Naam. Second would be Moon Walk - just please take down Christmas decorations!!!

The hotel for family with children

We were with my girlfriend and my friend in the hotel. Typical that they didn't invoice extra bed cost. The hotel are built for families with children. In the room are many toys for children, kitchen that you can cook and many small details witch show this. A bath is perfect and very big and continuously cleaned. The staff was friendly, cooperative and spooked well English.

Sai Naam opended December 2010 featuring very comfortable houses and apartment calmly situated at the end of Long Beach. The houses and apartments are united by the large pool in between and the reception/restaurant with very friendly staff. We chose to rent on of the five houses at Sai Naam mainly because of the location and was pleasantly surprised upon arrival except that we had to pay extra to use the third bedroom. This information we have missed upon booking. The house and area was great and though you live close to each other it still felt private. We can highly recommend Sai Naam.

Very good apartment-style accomodation, not hotel

we’ve been to koh-lanta before. while the whole island could look a little bit underdeveloped, it provides a nice change from overcrowded phuket. two ferry-crossings are well-organized. we drove from phuket in just 4 hours. sai-naam lanta residence is an apartment and townhouse block, which is located inside sweden built and operated gated compound with also about 50 private villas around. all amenities, like small groceries, 7-eleven store and many decent restaurants are within a walking distance.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
There is a newly built road to the south tip of the island with the Light-house, nice view and good park to walk around.

Great place for the big family

we are a family with 3 children which make difficult and expensive to get god places to stay. in ko lanta we booked the family apartmentat sai naam and was just perfect for us, as it have 2 enough beg rooms, dining area, 2 toilets, and balcony. the pool was just fantastic and the children really enjoyed it. the beach is close by and you have a 15 minutes walt on the beach to reach nice restaurants and bars. the only problem we got was that the booking canceling rules were not clear and we have to pay 50% for the last night which we cancelled as our plans changed. i reccomend agoda and hotels to put very clear information about cancelling rules.

Good location and great value for mone

we enjoyed our second visit to koh lanta and felt sai naam represented very good value for money. it is in a good central location with a short stroll to the beach and a taxi(tuk tuk) rank at the end of the lane. the pool is excellent and our room at the end was spacious and had great access to the pool with a lot of privacy.
our only negative was the smell in the drains whenever the septic tanks were emptied although i know this can be a common problem throughout asia. management were very concerned and went to great lengths to try to rectify the problem and i beleive a new venting system is being investigated.
the staff were wonderful, especially sarah who was always so happy and helpful - and hard working too.

Gorgeous hotel, amazing staff and great location
Stunning pool area, superb spacious room.

what a cracking place. we stayed for three nights and were chuffed. the staff were so lovely and helpful, organising lots of trips and travel for us. the pool was huge and a great spot, never busy. short walk to the beach then i would recommend walking for around ten minutes to a very quiet area of the beach for sunset and swimming. also a couple of nice restaurants on the seafront down there.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
We went to the Thai boxing which was a great experience. Muggy, hot and frenetic.
