Not a bad location but a little run-down

we had a good stay at the salatan resort and the lady in charge was very friendly and helpful.
the room was fairly basic and we had to ask for the dvd player even though it was supposed to be in the room already.
we had a huge mosquito problem in our room during our stay and the drains really smelt bad.
the breakfast buffet wasn't that much ( alot if the food is left out for a very long time) and you can get a better breakfast in the town for the same money or less.
generally we had a lovely time here, the pool was empty most of the time which was nice and its could be a lovely resort if a bit of tlc was invested unto it.

Terrible

This hotel is gross. The bed sheets had dried blood on them, the resort owner barley speaks english. All bungalows were full and they didn't stock enough food for the restaurant, so it was ham sandwiches. Sleep on the beach before you stay here! I live in Thailand so I am used to the bad smell of the plubing, but this place was awful.

Friendly and helpful staff, hotel a bit run down

Hotel wasn't like the pictures in the website, however it was in a good location for visiting the town. The beach wasn't too great here but you can hire a scooter a visit other areas if the Island.
