Resort feel without the pretensiousness. Lots of nice services like the more-than-ample included breakfast (definintely check it out), wonderful spa atmosphere, gorgeous pool, and of course, the beach. No freebies, not that we expected them, but for example, a newspaper service that we were told would be free turned out not to be. SriLanta was what we'd hoped for a more. We began our honeymoon trip to Thailand there and found it was a very nice way to start out (although we then found ourselves comparing our later digs to this place and sometimes found them lacking). This resort can certianly be described as comfortable, but not quite luxurious - you are partly in the jungle afterall. And there is an intentional 'return to nature' feeling that keeps you well in-touch with the flora and fauna (don't be surprised to see geckos and caterpillars in your otherwise polished bungalow). The accomdations are traditional Thai and very well finished, with dark, polished wood floors and furniture. The further back from the road are better because you're away from the traffic noise and the construction going on next to SriLanta's main buildings. These back bungalows put you farther from the beach and deeper into the jungle, but it's still just a 3 minute walk down, if that. Overall, a very nice combination of amenities that Americans and Euros are accustomed to with lovely Thai style and an extremely warm and friendly staff to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Rent a moto (with helmets!) and head down to the southernmost beaches for even more stunning panoramas.

Quiet, clean, safe and helpful staff Old facilities, several bungalows are on the other side of the road If you are interested in staying at Klongnin beach on Koh Lanta, this is the place. It has an atmosphere of luxury resort at affordable price.The bungalows are located among well-preserved garden and woods on the hillside. The bungalow is quiet and clean with enough amenities such as an air conditioner and a water heater. The staff and security personnel are helpful and friendly. It also owns transportation service which can serve you right from and to the airport. The downside is the bungalows are on the hillside on the other side of the road. When you want to go to the beach and lounging area, you have to cross the road everytime. Be careful if you have small children.
Restaurant Tip : Other restuarants nearby offer good foods with lower price.
