This is a two star resort at best, disguised in a five star resort. I am perplexed as to how it received this classification. This is false advertising. Even if offered a free stay we would never go back there. In fact, it turned us off Koh lanta all together.

Close-to-nature experience. Incredible place. Rooms and service could be better

This resort will give you complete satisfaction after travelling through Thailand for a few weeks. We had a great time, but should we visit Koh Lanta again, we will look for a Resort that combines price and quality a bit better then the Srilanta Resort did. Medium quality for a very high price when compaired to a few competitive resorts just around the corner of it.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : A must is the four island speedboat tour (possible booked at the esort). You visit four 'Bounty' islands and experience snorkling, chilling and eating at the beach, swimming through caves.

Not really worth the money. This is one of the few hotels in Koh Lanta that charges tax and 10% service charge on everything!
- Restaurant Tip : Great restaurant called Cookkai about 500 metres North of the hotel along the same road; excellent food, service and good price. Owners very friendly and funny - even gave us a lift home!

If you are addicted to 4 or 5 star hotel comfort, this resort might fail your expectations in some details. It is, in my opinion, a bit overpriced.

Try to go swimming in the morning if you like some goods waves, as afterwards the tide is going back. The beach is quite nice. Most of the island however is pretty appalling, roadside rubbish dumps and cheap beachside bungalows and the like, not the kind of tourism that will lead to sustainable development.
- Restaurant Tip : Try the "Same same but different" on Ban Kantieng Beach for good food at good value. However, the food at SriLanta is about the best we encountered on the island.
