Slow life, beautiful view

Unfortunately, I went to Lanta Island during a low (monsoon) season, so few shops and restaurants are open. But still, the bright side is that I really enjoy a slow life. People are friendly. Weather is cooling. Room is rather old. Smell comes up occasionally from sewer. But honestly, it was a great deal comparing to the sea view and the price i paid for.

The resort is quiet, staff is polite but not over-attentive. Avoid the restaurant food, it's overpriced and not really good. Breakfast on the other hand offers a nice and various buffet. Swimmingpool is deep and clean but perhaps not very beautiful compare to other resorts

The location is perfect and a small town with harbour is close by. The hotel is in a quiet part of the island and is located directly at a large beach. The breakfast buffet offers everything you need with many choices of food. The bungalows are simple, but well-equipped spacious and very clean. It is a little over-priced, but worthwhile. The staff is very helpful and makes things happen. A clear recommendation for great and relaxing holidays.

First room was dark, dank, and buggy. Then moved to better rooms (moved twice due to other bookings). Breakfast area over run with flies. Resort used placemats with deep small groves that filled with dried foods and attracted flies. Kitchen area and food presentation also very unclean. Staff nice. Pool great but pool deck burned your feet and shortage of chairs. Ocean was wonderful but minimal to see snorkeling. Rented motorcycle to have transport to other restaurants and also some located short walk down the beach. The bay behind the resort is very shallow and not usable.

Nice place for people who're looking for peace
Peaceful, Near market, located between 2 beaches

The hotel is located near pier, walking street, restaurants and market. And it is between 2 beaches, in front of the resort and back of the resort. The room is okay. But the price is a bit expensive for my room. Nice atmosphere and very peaceful.

There are 2 sides to this resort which is right on one of the best beaches I have ever been to. One side has shady casuarina trees the other the rooms are built a few feet above ground with a balcony but no direct beach access although they are very close to the beach. The former side had better beach access. This resort is ideally situated on the quiet side of a perfect beach for little ones and fitness minded adults alike. Super hot water and big bath tubs in the room. We had a wonderful holiday here.
Restaurant Tip:
The mango sticky rice stand in Saladan town was so good as were her mango shakes!

Lovely hotel with a family feel

Stayed here with 2 other couples and small children. Very nice cute bungalows. Bit of a walk down the beach to the restaurants but thats fine as it makes it quieter at the resort. The guy who runs the place is English and so helpful with everything. He will do anything for you. Only problem I thought was the rooms don't include safes - you have to use the ones at the front desk which are only just big enough for wallets and passports. We were upgraded to the suite. I would say the bathrooms need a little bit of an upgrade but we had just been spoilt at another resort. Doesn't quite get the sunset from this vantage.
Nightlife Tip:
Definitely not the beach for nightlife. We did love food and drink at the most northern restaurant on the beach.

Very enjoyable for family and friends

We stayed here after our wedding with a few other family members. They had a great BBQ on the beach. The kids loved the pool. We were upgraded to a fab room with views of a beach on either side. Unfortunately we don't get the sunset as you are too far in the wrong angle. Staff were very helpful. No locker in room only at reception and not big enough for laptop only passport and money. This was quite basic here even for the most costly villa we were in. It was nice but not the lap of luxury we experienced elsewhere. Totally recommend for holiday on a budget but needs a few extra touches to make this 5 *. Long walk along the beach to get to the other restaurants. I would pick a beach further south on the island next time.

Nice location, bad service
The hotel is situated right on one of the nicest beaches in Thailand, we think.

This is pretty much an uncut diamond. The rooms are simple, but clean. We love the pool-area, and the beach outside the hotel is just amazing: one of the few places in Thailand without annoying salesmen bothering you all the time. The service at the hotel does not meet usual Thai standards: the staff is unengaged and not very professional. The breakfast was a disappointment, and we did not find the other meals very good either. All in all, we recommend the hotel - especially for families with kids - but you may want to eat somewhere else.
Restaurant Tip:
We liked the restaurant right at the northern corner of the beach. The Frog in Saladan was also vey nice.
