Very quiet and a bit more expensive than other hotels on our trip. The hotel looked nice but the staff didn't pick us up from the ferry terminal which meant we paid 400baht for a taxi. When we arrived our room (a beach front villa) was still occupied by someone else even though we had paid in advance. We were offered an executive suite instead for no extra charge. Koh Lanta is nice but very quiet at this time of year. It is also not as beautiful as Koh Phi Phi or some of the other islands I've been on. But still we had a lovely time. Be warned it takes at least 2 hours to get to Krabi airport from Koh Lanta (also involves two ferries).

Good location.
Very nice beach Very bad English speaking employees This hotel is located 5 minutes from the city center in the North of Koh Lanta. This means you are close to the most important places like the city and ferry and so on. The hotel service is Ok but not perfect. The biggest problem is that they hardly speak English so it's pretty hard for them to understand what you are saying. Otherwise the hotel is clean and the peolpe are friendly. If you are in Koh Lanta I advice you to go outside of the hotel anyways. Go see the Island!!!
Travel tip : rent a scooter and exploe all the nice places which Koh Lanta has to offer you.

Great location, very close to town and a good spot to depart from for diving. Staff was pleasant. The room was very comfortable.
The beach and the pool were really nice. Mosquitos were agressive, definately use the net over the bed. Air conditioned but the air wasn't always cool. The bathroom was the only drawback. woirked fine and all but it was a very raw space, nothing luxurious about it. The water from the shower drained across the floor. Good to bring sandals so that you don't walk through the water when ever you need to go to the bathroom. We really liked our stay. We went to koh lanta to do some diving and the reosrt was in a great spot, easy access to baan saladan and Lanta Diver. the room was comfortable but the bathroom was a bit rough. The bathroom was a cement room with a shower head, sink and toilet. The only major drawback was that the water drained across the floor and essentially got the entire floor wet. It never really dried. The bed was comfortable. It really was a good deal for your money and the beach was really nice. the staff was very pleasant but thier english was not always perfect.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Lanta DIver was an excellent dive operation to go out with. we really enjoyed our time with them. the staff and boats were great. Best restaurants- Somerwhere Else and Red Snapper Both were just great!

The restaurant is nicely placed with a view of both bays. Lovely pool with a great view. Poolside bar has the music far too loud for most of the day.
Towels were not as clean and fresh as I would have liked. Twin Bay is a lovely, small resort with a great pool, friendly staff and a very good location. It would not suit those of you who like to party - however there are plenty of lively places further along the beach and a wide choice of places to eat - it is a really great walk at sunset or in the moonlight. The lovely little restaurant also has beach side tables and although the young staff are a little 'naive' they are very pleasant and helpful. It is a very romantic outlook on a clear night. My husband and I had a deluxe cabin and it was very comfortable and clean. The towels were sometimes a little stale smelling but I think that it would have been fixed if I had complained. We were initially placed in a cabin next to the staff maintenance room and this is not a good location (noisy and scruffy) but we were immediately moved when we asked to be relocated. We enjoyed our stay and were sorry to leave. We would go there again.

The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. Pool was very nice and the rooms were very clean. Slightly to far away from Long Beach. You can go for a good walk along the beach, but if you are to late you can not get back as the tide is in. Very nice place to just chill out and relax. The food was first grade. And the staff are very helpful, especially the barman Pong. Very funny but watch your back, he's a bit of a prankster.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : try the elephant trekking with the cave adventure. Not what you would expect from a 'tourist' cave. More like exreme caving... Pick black, slippy, thin oxygen and bats. Very good fun.

Friendly staff.
Good food. This was my second visit to Koh Lanta.
I opted to pay a little more and book a seaside bungalow and was very happy I did. Lovely view to wake up to overlooking the bay.
It unfortunately rained 4 of the 6 days of my stay, but still idyllic.
Breakfast was ample and as expected. The hotel is a bit of a walk along the beach to reach other restaurants and beach bars, but the food here is very good (Thai and Western)
Nice pool and nice sandy beach with no rocks and shallow water - great beach for kids.
Nice quiet place for families or a good rest.
I would definitely recommend this location, but perhaps rent a bicycle.

I could not fault this place. Everything was just absolutely wonderful.. of all the places we stayed at, this was just pure heaven ... the service, rooms, location, entertainment just wonderful. This place is definitely very special and most importantly it makes you feel special... well done Twin Bay 10 stars.
Shopping Tip : The hotel has taxi motorbikes or cars waiting to take you into town any time ... it only takes 5 minutes to town.

A very nice hotel with an excellent setting right on the beach. A very nice staff and good food in the resturant. We specially recommend the deepfried shrimps!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Take a boat trip to Koh Rok for snorkeling/diving and another trip to Koh Muk for swimming through a cave in to a beautiful beach!
