After one night at the Goodtime Resort we moved across the road to the Koh Mak Villas (co-run by Goodtime) for less construction noise, better accommodation and superb views. The resort has its own beach on a nearby island and provide a 15 minute boat trip – well worth the adventure. Lots of good walks around the island to cultural sites with other resorts offering a break for food and drink.
- Travel tip : The Meekatheena on the beachfront has a great outdoor restaurant to while away the hours – take a torch if returning at night as the road from Goodtime can be steep and arduous.
