Beautiful surroundings, but expensive.

We stayed for one night in beachfront villa. I wasn't expecting the room to be amazing since I knew the place was dated. It was large and fairly comfortable with Its own section of beach. My only complaint was that there were a lot of roaches in the room, but it's Thailand. It was really nice when all the day tours left and there were only a few people left on the island in the evening and early in the morning. Snorkelling was great and you could watch the sunrise and sunset from the beach.
My complaints with this place was the restaurant. Dinner was very expensive and the portions were small and if you are still hungry you are left out of luck because no food after 8:30 and no where else to go. Service was non existent in the restaurant as well. Breakfast was okay. They made fresh omelettes on the buffet.
Not much to do after 9. Good just to relax.

Great island and good stuff

pros: good view, staff is nice, and really quiet before 9 am & after 4 pm (only guest of the resort are on the island during this time).
cons: food is not good compares to main island, but still accepable.
breakfast is really simple
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Really good sunset & in the morning some sharks (small one) will swim to the bay, but they don't bite people, really lovely.
