Great room with all the basic amenities such as hot water, air-con and free water. If you are into satelite TV, there are not much English options. Also, there are not many options in terms of eating/drinking, so one ends up doing that in the resort. Finally, they charge 10% service charges and also 7%VAT Great place to stay. The resort is well kept and organised. Staff is friendly and willing to help. White sandy beach is in front of the resort as well. The only down side is they charge 17% (service charge plus VAT), so the price you see on the menu are not the price you will be charged. Overall, however, this is a good resort.

Paradise beach. Friendly staff No hot water in the "deluxe" rooms. Bad smell from the toilet.
Meals become very expensive once they add 20% to the already high prices. Overall - Koh Ngai (Hai) is a paradise Island.
The hotel staff is friendly but seems like more interested in your pocket than actual service.
I saw some nicer options on the Island for different budgets.

nice rooms in different categories, quiet, best part of the beach, good food, nice staff, good snorkeling nearby (right hand if you look onto the sea breakfast: only Nescafe, no fresh milk, no fresh juices, even Orange Juice was not fresh, no cheese; all prices in the restaurant are without charge and fees, that means, that in the end ca. 20 % have to be added to the bill... we stayed at least for the 3rd time on the island and in the resort, and the good thing is: things do not change too much on this island, that means: there is no masstourism on the island and this is because of the relatively high prices for acc. and food - and I really miss a good breakfast there, worth the money that I pay for a room there... but all in all: for me it´s worth the money I spent there. I´ll definetly go back there...

The hotel has great service, good food and a good quality spa with air-con. They have a turist shop where you can also buy things like sunscreen and snacks. In the bathroom you will find toothpast and toothbrush, soap, shampoo and conditionar and q-tips fresh everyday. As most hotels in Thailand you get two bottels of free drinking water dayly. The hotel has turist service that is helpful and organises trips to and from the airport and other islands, like Koh Lanta and Phi-Phi, with tours and hotel stays. The bathroom is not european standard. As in they ask you not to flush toilet paper down the toilet and the shower is heated with gass. Beautiful sandy beaches, clear blue water, corals, fishes and jungel. The natur is stunning and the service is exellent. Great spa and snorkling/diving tours to neighbouring islands.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : This hotel has a diving and snorkling trip arranger located on it's grounds. I would advise you to go on trips with them. They cost 800 bath for half day trips and 1600 bath for full day trips. They include water, equiptment and lunch. They do trips to Koh Mook (the Emerald Cave) and to Koh Rok and several smaller islands around Koh Hai. All very beautiful sites to snorkle and dive. You are swimming amoung colorful fish and beautiful corals!

Ko Hai is a great getaway for lots of peace, to recharge, swim, sleep, eat and just do nothing.

Ich würde in dem Hotel nur die Beachfrontbungalows empfehlen. Die Anlage "dahinter" ist teilweise nicht so schön. Abends kann man sehr schön in die "Villa Bar" gehen, ca. 5 min den Strand runter.

- Good base for excursions - attentive, reliable transfer service - good restaurant, daily fresh sea fish - generally very well maintained - friendly staff - Well-maintained beach, but rocky and impassable sea access Without that detail, we have announced our arrival we were greeted at the airport from the hotel Trang staff who have informed themselves on their own initiative in turn about our arrival, and brought (to the hotel car / boat). Our stay was completely enjoyable. The staff was unobtrusive, but always ferundlich and helpful. The Thai food at the restaurant is highly recommended! Rarely have we eaten so good and so fresh, aromatic, fruit juices (mango!) Drunk. The system is quite simple, but equipped with all necessities and well maintained. Also recommended for a stay of less discovered places in Thailand!

The beach right at the hotel. Good breakfast and other meals. Probably the best resort on Koh Hai. That is what we think, after talking with other tourists and promernerat around. The only thing that can compete is Koh Hai Resort at the pier on the other side of the cape, where the snorkeling is much better. Fantasy has a great restaurant with okay prices. The breakfast included was also great. The pool might be a bit boring, but who wants to swim there when the beach is so fine. Select not "jungle rooms" at the beach when they are very dark and shady. As a whole, we may, however, next time choose Koh Muuk and Charlie Beach Resort next time. The beach is even better and wider choice of restaurants mm. Located just 15 minutes away by speed-boat.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Go over the island to the west side, where there is a beautiful beach with good snorkeling. It also boasts a simple resort with a restaurant. Stigen there through the jungle of the mountain and through coconut cultivation is nice and exciting for children. Took us about 30 minutes with small children. We took a long back for 100 bath. Emerald Cave will of course also experienced.
