Excellent stay. Lovely beach front resort (though the beach isn't great for swimming it's an awesome view. Very out of the way so it's quiet and relaxing. The staff is the best hotel staff I've ever encountered. Great food and bar and great prices. Nice large, clean rooms.

The hotel is very clean, staff there very supportive and friendly. They make for you everything - change money, rent a bike or a car, call taxi and so on, and everything very fast. Swimming pool is nice, very close to the sea. Food is good, but there a just a few dishes in restaurant, so if you want to eat fresh seafood or something outstanding, you have to go in another area, such as Thong Sala or Hat Rin. The main problem is location - really far from good restaurants, bars, night life. It takes about 30 minutes with taxi or motorbike to get there. Otherwise the area is dead, at least during low season. The beach is close located, but it is hard to swim there because of stones, seaweed and low water level.

We stayed here for a couple nights. This hotel is small and very quiet. The pool is nice, the beach isn't good for swimming at low tide. The location is a bit isolated, so unless you rent a motorcycle, be prepared to take a good walk to find anything to eat. Very few of the staff speak any English, so it was a bit challenging to get information, call a taxi, etc. However, the bungalows are lovely and unique, we had our own deck with an ocean view. :)

A classy little place to kick back and relax

Great little spot at the end of a quiet beach. The room we had (8)was large and airy with a very large bathroom area with great rain shower, and a large balcony area looking out to sea over the roof of the restaurant below.Next to the bar/restaurant is a lovely little infinity pool, with about 10 loungers around. Everything seems fairly new and well maintained. It may lack the character of some of the more old style bungalow and hammock operations that many associate with the island, but this is more than made up for by the quality of what you do actually get. Menu was a bit limited, but we found the restaurant just along the beach at the Cabana to do a good range of Thai and Western food.

We loved this place. If we visit Thailand again we will stay here. The food was the best we had in Thailand. Room was awesome, clean, modern - beautiful view of the sunset. Pool right on the beach, which was perfect for evening cocktails. Nice and quiet, you can really unwind here. There is a bar (Pirate Bar) down the beach further for those wanting more night life. We hired a scooter the whole stay and could get around the island easily. Would recommend for couples!
