simple basic comfort. no thrills and no frills

we asked for 4 pax room. Per the hotel confirmation, we had been assigned to a Family room. but clearly, they assigned a couple room to us with 2 additional beds added. Making no much of a "living/walking" area. T
For 4 adults, there should have been 2 toliets, but we only have 1 toilet and on shower room. Which for 4 gals to share and wait can be a drag
the wifi in the room is no good as we are in a corner of the resort, to get wifi, we need to stand near the door to do so. The drainage in the shower room was bad also, the shower room will flood a bit each time one person showered.
Food in the "Moon Bar" wasn't good too. even thou I was in Thailand, I felt that the standard wasn't that good at all. Overall I don't think the 4 pax living space was that good enough for

My friends and I initially stayed in a suite with a jacuzzi. We were there for the full moon party. It is about 10 minutes to the party so this hotel is conveniently located. They even drive you to the party and have shuttles that leave every hour. We loved our view but when a presidential suite became available, we opted for the upgrade. The presidential suite was amazing. Overlooked the beach with our own private pool and jacuzzi. Couldn't have asked for a better stay.
You can book the driver in advance to take you where you need to go. The one thing I will say is that the front desk does an excellent job of trying to find you activities to do. We booked our elephant tour through them and they were also helpful when booking a ride to catch our ferry. Buffet for breakfast is lackluster, except for the omelette station. Other than that, I would say that this is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at.

Good location, good standard hotel

nice hotel in northern part of cheweng beach, front desk staff is mostly friendly but need more professional training, when i checked in ( sup. deluxe on second floor ) i asked for sea view, and they quoted me first BAHT / night for surcharge....after making me wait for 20 min ( still not drink no towel ...i asked for it for me my gf ....but i never gotone...) they finally tolf me night. after i agreed i kind of realized that these were same standard rooms.....and the unti was right by entrance and outside tub was therefoire not usable as everybody can see all the terrace. the rooms are big and nicely designed even though in bathroom area it shows a little age....also my shower kept flooding the toilet. Breakfast was good but room service food was terrible and small.
Restaurant Tip:
Fisherman about 5 min by bike very good food and nice owner !!

This place was so great we returned for a second time. The resort is gorgeous; like staying in paradise. People are nice and the concierge will arrange anything you need, such as motorbike rental or trips into town. Highly recommend.
