**Best Resort** I have stayed at Dakanda resort is perfect that for me All staff very friendly and helpful that i need, the restaurant is very good test and reasonable price, special good test for cock tail on the beach We have called to hotel pick up from thong sala pier to hotel is free for taxi but you have to contact to hotel just 5 minutes from pier to hotel We are very enjoyed our stay and very comfortable for room and facilities all the room have private balcony and you can use free for wireless internet Thank you for all service we will come back and recommend to our friend

Quiet hotel on the beach, but a funky room

My stay was okay. However, I would not stay in the hotel rooms again. The bathrooms are dark and very hot. The a\c compressors are directly outside the bathroom window and they blow hot air directly in to the bathroom. The bathroom windows do not close. The a/c took a long time to cool my room. Also, the blanket on the bed is rough and itchy. The villas may be better, but are more money.

There was a horrible smell coming from the bathroom. I tried complaining but all housekeeping did was hose it down and spray air freshener. I tried to clean it myself, burnt incense all day and kept the door open to air but when it came time to shut the door to sleep it seemed worse than ever. I went to reception and asked if I could change rooms as the smell was making me feel sick. She said there was a technician coming to look at it tomorrow and walked out the back room and left me standing there. I put the mattress on the floor and slept with the door open all night getting bitten by mosquitoes. The next day I left even though I had already paid for 2 more nights. There are so many better places and a better beach further down so dont stay at Da Kanda!!

Too good, too nice and the staff are really nice. nothing bad to say about this hotel expect when it rains cause it poors it down hard. Rooms are too nice.

Nice resort but many things need improvement

the resort is nice overall and the location is very close to the koh phangan's town, thong sala.
however, i did find several negatives:
- i don't quite like how disorganised they are at the reception
- i wasn't a fan of one of the waiters who was on a verge of being overly-familiarizing and impolite.
- their pricing policy is a bit ridiculous / agoda price being way better than the walk-in price -> ended up standing in front of a reception and booking with agoda
