Great beach bad hotel/ services/ food

I'm working in hotel service very long time and if you provide good services guest my appreciate and offer tip. It is a shame because they have beautiful beach and bad quality off service and food. Internet is not working, you can see the router but you can not connect.

Lovely hotel but needed upgrade instantly

We arrived expecting a half decent accommodation for the amount we paid but the description of agoda doesn't match the description of the hotel in terms of superior room. We did however pay an extra 1000 baht per night to get a beachfront deluxe and it was perfect! It was an unbelievable setting and a great few nights there! Hopefully will go back again one day!
Hotel Feature Tip:
If you want a bit of a half decent room don't go superior, it was a bed and a bathroom, if your on a budget and expect that fair do's, do it as the rest of the hotel is great.

Great place, Beautiful and friendly floor staff
it hasd a great location, nice and quite and Haad Yao beach is fantastic

We found our time there really great, lovely rooms with a great view, funny and friendly staff, meet great people and places to have a quite beer on the beach and good places to eat all round.
We will be sure to return, we went initially for 3 days and stayed 2 weeks !!
and if you like diving at the north end of the beach you'll kind Reefers Diving ask for Vic or Martin, really good crew

Rude and money oriented staff

Don't go! Very rude staff and not very helpful with anything and very money oriented. To blow up a small swimming ring for kids with an air pump had a price - 100 baht! When ordering a drink they said there is the fridge and pointed. Really bad cuisine which resulted in the guests eating elsewhere such as High Life Bungalows. Only guests in the restaurant was outsiders which didn't know better and newly arrived guests. The beach is nice but there is a reef and when low tide there is not much swimming to do. During our stay they never cleaned the pool nor the area around only when somebody broke a class. The pool was really dirty by the end of our stay and also leaved green stains on the skin and swimming suits. The only positive thing is the location and the beachfront bungalows.

Very nice beach with sunset (unlike other further North), nice clean beachfront bungalows, pool a plus for children

A very nice location - only negative aspect is it's a bit pricey and the owners are quite money oriented - everything has a cost!
Great with young children though (1yr old and 4 yr old) - wide sand beach with shallow waters, and pool (requires vigilance...)

ottima posizione had yao vicino al piccolo centro di had yao. da qui e' possibile visitare in scootter solo le spiagge del versante occidentale.
Hotel Feature Tip:
il bungalow era il piu vecchi ma in ottima posizione per he in alto e anche se bisognava fare parecchi scalini per salire e scenedere dalla spiaggia aveva una vsta magnifica ed era senza zanzare.
inoltre la posizione alta rendeva gradevole anche la notte. non abbiamo mai azionato la ventola tra l'altro piena di polvere.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
vi hyrde vespa och åkte till en strand som heter malibou beach och den va mycket vacker.

Enkla rum med bra läge

Vi blev positivt överraskade av utsikten när vi kom dit. Hade bokat utsikt mot trädgård men fick havsutsikt. Rummet var ganska enkelt, vi fick inte alla faciliteter som var utlovade. Personalen var ganska fåordig troligtvis pga av svårigheter med engelskan. Vi stannade i 3 dagar och trivdes bra, även om vi förväntat oss en lite högre standard än den vi fick. Den vackra utsikten vägde upp mot det.
