Beautiful location, amazing huge rooms and bathrooms, fantastic swimming pool . . .
Hot water is a little sporadic as is solar heated. Very quiet when I visited (early Nov.) and there was no other guests (which was quite nice) and no breakfast buffet.
I love this resort, and will definitely return. It is on a beautiful beach, all the rest of the accommodation is cheap backpacker accommodation, so I'm not too sure of the suitability of Pariya resort to this beach, but I had a wonderful time, it suited me perfectly. Walk in rates at this hotel are very high, but booking on Agoda, you get a great deal
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Book in for a massage with May at bamboo hut!

Nothing! and I am being objective. Apart from the reception staff, very nice girls & theres nothing much they can do. The place is suitable for only backpackers/fullmoon party gowers willing to splash out some cash by sharing the villas, its a new resort thus relatively clean (becasue its new)but its crwaling with insects and ants (inside the villa).
It is the worst hotel experience ever, also its quite difficult to get to, I was meant to be collected by the hotel from the pier, it didnt happen/they didnt show up, very difficult to make a call etc, also going back is quite expensive, it is far better to get a return ticket from samui. after you get to the pier you have to walk to another pier then you will need to get a small boat to the hotel, you should travel light as you are walking through the water to get to the boat and its thrown in on the boat as they are used to rocksaks, if you share the boat its 150B, if alone then 300B. the spa in the htel is a total rip off of price, the food... no fish in the restaurant, they only have chicken and beef, and sausages for breakfast, the fish is on the menu but they dont have it! the breakfast is awful, they dont even offer you coffee/tea, you have to ask! then you help yourself to the milk from the milk jug for the cereal as thats whats available. they dont even know what a fried egg is, it was a total mess it arrives with the yoke broken all over, when i asked whats with the yellow, the staff answers its broken, they just dont care and they dont know (the place was so awful I lost my sense of humor otherwise I would've asked for poached eggs or overeasy!!! I'd say that would've been something!). they have 3 types of cereals (corn flakes, cocopops and very old powdery musli), jug of milk, 1 plate of few slices of tin pineabpples (acidic), 1 plate of 5 slices of watermellon, a toaster and basket of loaf bread (watch out for the ants and insects)with few tubs of airplane jam and marmalade and that was it. They offer sausages and rashers (or tin ham slices) from the kitchen, dont risk it! the food menu is very poor. the beach is filthy and covered with cigarette buds and other items of broken plastics and straws etc, the sun chairs are filthy, backpackers use the beach and the chairs, footballs hitting your leg with loud music blaring from the backpackers cd players
Please see cons! Once you arrive on the island, people are quite greedy, they're screaming in face with hands in your face for the sums of money they're charging, its hardcore party goers place (not your regular party going!), its all tattoos and other things. Its certainly not for professionals or families or for comfort. the only decent food/ restuarant in a place called bamboo, reasonable and tasty, but if you observe whats around its an experience...the island is very expensive for what you get... even the 5* hotels are notreally worth it. if you want to visist the island its best to go for the day. Towards the end of the second day after a full day of asking them to leave, I paid for the boat transfere trip (others the hotel paid it complimentary!)
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you want to visit this area just go there for the day. though the transfer is difficult and expensive. The information office located at the pier is totally useless.

Beautiful rooms. There is a nice small club with a pool table, books and other things in the hotel.
There is a problem with the hot water. The is great room for improvement in the service.
The hotel is beautiful and is located in a beautiful beach. However, we did not get any hot water during our stay in the hotel. When we complained about it, the receptionist came to our room, turned on the faucet and said that the water is warm (Which it wasn't), implying that that is good enough. The breakfast was also disappointing. The value for money of the hotel is low. Another problem is that the only way to get to that hotel is by boat (long tail or other) because there are no roads leading to that beach (as far as I know).
Hotel Feature Tip : Don't go to that hotel. It is very expensive and the value for money is low.

Nice large rooms, private feel resort
stairs, stairs and more stairs to your room!
This resort was a very nice resort that was a short 10-15 minute boat ride from Haad Rin. This beach actually had other resorts on it but the beach still had a very private feel to it. The rooms were clean and very spacious and the staff was very friendly. The only draw back which oddly enough was also a plus was the rooms are very far to get to. I say its a plus as well though because it felt like you were in a jungle (heck, we might have really been, I don't know!) and being that the rooms were far away provided privacy

Pariya Had Yuan is a very quiet beach hotel. What is not so convenient would be the access to the beach is only by boats. Good thing is the Bamboo restaurant over the cliff nearby is very nice, plus very cheap food and drink (a big glass of wine in only 100 baht). However, Overall Hotel condition is not so well kept. We rent the hip room which need long climbling from the ground floor. The wash-basin is too small, the bath is small and not quite clean. The curtain are red and cheap material and design. Breakfast is just ok.
Restaurant Tip : Bamboo restaurant over the cliff is very very nice

Awesome hotel! 15 minutes away from Haad Rin. Soft beach. Big pool. Nice staff. Overall a gorgeous resort if you can shell out a little extra cash. It's worth it!!!
And completely romantic!!! Perfect for couples and honeymooners. Get one of the villas...
A truly beautiful hotel!! It's a quick 15 minute longtail boat to Haad Rin and the craziness of the Full Moon Parties. Trust me... It's nice to have a little separation from the fun insanity.
Soft sandy beach. Big pool. Attentive staff. Really nice ladies that work the front counter...
And the rooms are modern, chic, clean and by far the coolest I've seen so far on my 1 month trip.

The staff is very uninformed and nothing near helpful. The hotel does not provide transportation to haad rin, and when it does, it's through an unsafe boat ride that you actually are expected to pay for. There is no good food at the hotel. The hotel does not have access to internet (although they surely will sell you internet cards).
DO NOT STAY HERE. The minute that we arrived, we knew that it would be a terrible experience. The hotel picked us up from the pier in a dinky boat, that was unsafe. We, as well as our luggage, got soaked on our way to the hotel. The staff was quite ill-informed, and unknowledgeable. Very unhelpful. We wanted to check out immediately, but the staff strung us along and did not help us get back off the island. Additionally, the hotel sold us internet cards, when the internet was down and unusable. There was no food to buy. Finally, although the hotel forced a 5 night minimum stay on us, we checked out early after two nights. Check out took us a total of 3 hours! The staff kept insisting that we wait "just a moment" for our paperwork. "A moment" turned into hours, and this is pretty much the theme of our stay. Do whatever possible to book somewhere else. Don't waste your money and your vacation time on this hotel.

This is the most exclusive hotel on Haad Yuan and it´s neighboring beach Haad Tien which are both only accessible with boat. (more or less) If it can be afforded ther should be no doubt. The Villas most beachfront are very nice and the entire hotel area along with staff is an excellent experience.

Great quiet beach, lovely pool, beautiful villas, jungle and beach surroundings, friendly staff.
A few jungle bug run ins, but should be expected as you are in the jungle.
Arrival at the Pariya was refreshing after the longtail trip over. Greeted with friendly staff. Neighboring hotels offer more selections in food if needed, but Pariya's food was always good and they were accomidating to our every request. Great AC, Clean, large, comfy rooms (villas). Water sports, and beach toys were always available for use. All you could really hear was the ocean during the day, some Bob Marley at sunset, and crickets at night. Haad Yuan is very nice!
Nightlife Tip : If you want it you can hope on a longtail over to Haad Rin...lots to do there.

Very lovely hotel to just chill at. The location is pretty remote; you can catch a long boat or dive the rugged road in. I would suggest the boat, they will come and get you but try to protect your suitcases so they do not get wet. There is Skype at the hotel and at the Internet site by Big Bamboo.
Travel tip : Great place to chill. No shopping, just beach. The restaurant on the edge of the bay perched on the cliff is great. Big Blue okay but it plays two movies every night, quite fun.

... Very beautiful beach with calm and service staff.
Walk from room to beach, very muddled blinds in a room is red and creased, unshapely It feels like burlap to the auditorium. Should be a cream color and white pleated no eyes to see a class more comfortable.
