Located on Koh Phangan, popular for its full moon parties, the Milky Bay Resort is on the beach of Ao Ban Tai. If you are here during the full moon party, which takes place on Haad Rin Beach, it is definitely not to be missed. Near the island are some spectacular dive sites, which are perfect for beginners as well as experienced divers. Guests can also partake in some Muay Thai action, go to cultural tours or Elephant back riding. While the resort includes several beachfront activities, as well as relaxation treatments.

The best staf, great food, beautiful clean rooms and a nice swimming pool!!
The food is a little bit expensive and we didn't like the beach in that area(it isn't sandy...)
The best resort that we met in our monthly vecation at thailand. go and try for yourself...

The milkybay resort is a great place to stay, mainly because of the great, helpful and friendly staff which make you feel comfortable. The staff were always present at the reception. THe restaurants provided us with great meals, eventhough it was a little expensive compared to other places on the island. It was great value for money. The rooms are, however, small and you should not be suprised to find bugs in your room (you are still in the jungle). Overall it was a great place to stay, which we certainly recommend.
Restaurant Tip : Fisherman, on the road to Had Rin (only 5 minutes away by motorbike)

rooms kept nice and clean..very friendly atmosphere throughout,made to feel welcome instantly.
the bungalows are built in a forest type environment..if your a bit squeemish of the odd bug maybe its not for you.
as soon as you arrive at the resort you are made most welcome,you are soon on first name terms with billy who owns the resort.he's a really great guy always around if you need anything.The bar is right on the beach and if your a lone traveller you'll soon be talking to people.the food was very enjoyable if slightly different to other places i've stayed at. The room size was adequate for 1 person maybe a bit small for 2.
Hotel Feature Tip : very near to port dont pay more than 100baht for your taxi.
