Phangan Utopia Resort Koh Phangan (Samui) Info
The resort is located on the north part of the Koh Phangan Island between a beach and a bay. The Mae Had Bay is a popular dive site, and guests can organize to take a ferry to the island of Koh Ma. Guests can go on fishing trips, mountain trekking and island hopping. The Utopia restaurant at Phangan Utopia serves both Thai and European dishes while the Sea View Terrace serves Thai and western dishes. The best time to visit the island is probably during the full-moon parties that take place every month.

great views and peace and quiet - its a fair way from anywhere. Those we knew who hired mopeds here didn't get issues (which you can elsewhere on the island when you are asked to foot the bill for damage or repairs you haven't caused). Nice pool with a lovely view
overpriced and tired rooms and decor, unless you go for a top, top room this really isn't utopia.... Also its a way from anywhere - great if you want to lay flat in the sun by one pool for a week but to get anywhere else costs a lot by (Thai) satandards - and the hotel doesn't offer transport options (that we could see) that are any cheaper which would ahve been a plus they could have helped with - in fact we were charged to be dropped off at a beach 2km away when we checked out !!!!
Loved the isolation and clifftop views here, but none of the rooms on the website as far as we could see are what anyone gets - were the photos taken years ago !!??! Tired and not good value given what you can get elsewhere - and you need to pay a fair bit if you want to go anywhere on the island...
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : avoid the waterfalls - they're not very good

Amazing views if you're staying at 'sea view' bungalows. Two stories, upstairs living and balcony and downstairs amenities. Great value for money. Staff were great.
No direct access to beach and is quite secluded but its easy and nice to get around in a scooter. Food was cheap but weren't the best, which was expected.
Amazing place to stay. Would come back.
Travel tip : Haad Rin full moon party is a must. and go by Koh Tao if you get a chance.
