Quiet, clean rooms. Friendly and co-operative staff.
General building maintenance needs to be improved as my room was looking a little tired.
Free wifi would be nice for the price of the rooms. Judging by some of the other resorts that are on thong nai paan noi beach i would say that puwadee resort and spa is one of the older accomodation options. My room was clean and spacious but the front door had a huge gap at the top and cracks in the door were filled with tissue paper! The staff were helpful with all questions and the gardens were well maintained. Overall not a bad option for the medium price ranged air-conditioned rooms.
Nightlife Tip : the jungle bar can get rather pumping!

Location and price. Bungalow was clean and very spacious. Nice people. Free breakfast. Beautiful beach! Very loud bar to the south. Lack of ongoing maintenance left this place looking tired and lacking in pride. Lots of potential though. We didn't know what to expect and booked only one night and ended up staying for two. They gave us an upgrade to a sea view bungalow which was nice, but that put us right next door to a really loud bar. Great if you want to party late into the night. Not so good for sleeping. The staff was really nice and the restaurant was fine. The place could be a lot nicer with a bit of updating and care but it's a good value and on a wonderful beach. Nice mid range place for what is turning into a high-end destination resort beach. We moved on to another resort on the same beach. Nothing to do with the hotel but what's up with smoking Europeans on this beach?
Hotel Feature Tip : Don't stay hear if you want to party on Haad Rin. Request a room away from the flip flop bar!

Nice beach, great staffs, food and drinks in the resort was reasonably priced. Internet was pretty cheap, 150bht/24hrs. Really far away from the center of town, 45 minutes.
Rooms were too plain. A/C not cold enough.
We enjoyed everything in this hotel except for transportation. Roads were really bumpy and not paved. Our suitcases and ourselves were covered in dirt and dust when we arrived to the the hotel. We took the Shared Taxis and it was pretty expensive. 300b/pp from the pier to the hotel. Private, enclosed taxi (pick up truck) was 1000bht. We took this on our departure date and felt a lot better, but our luggages were out in the open and again covered with dirt and dust.
If you're here for just a vacation with no one to bother you, this is the place to be. For those that are looking for more nightlife or here for the full/half moon party, I suggest to live a little closer to town.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : For those who have money to spare, take the private, enclosed taxi. Or ask for airport pick up service from the hotel which is also 1000bht/one way.

Nice beach, good restaurant, helpful staff, good rooms. It's a comfortable place and the price was right. A few other things around, but a bit in the middle of nowhere... I stayed here during the Full Moon Party, somewhat for that reason. Expect an hour drive to Haad Rin beach. I'd stay here again! It was a good value, and because I knew ahead of time that it was far from Haad Rin, it was no problem. The food was good, the beach was relaxing, and my bungalow was very comfortable.
Nightlife Tip : Do your best to use the shared taxi services. A single ride will cost you a good 1,000thb.

Nice villa style accommodation with good breakfast. Way too far out of the way from all the action. Although the pool, the villa style accommodation and breakfast were good and I couldn't fault the lady who run it, I would say it is not a place for young people as getting from one side of the island to the party side is a nightmare! I nearly missed my ferry as the taxi couldn't get up and down all the windy slim dirt paths to get me back to the other side. I would go back to koh phangan but not here, sorry.

Although this resort is on the nicest beach I probably would not stay at this resort again just because it is very far from all other beaches on Koh Phangan. The roads to get there are treacherous so I would not recommend renting a motorcycle. As mentioned earlier, the manager was terrible but my wife and I still had a great time.
Nightlife Tip : If you are interested in Koh Phangan for the nightlife, do not stay at Thong Nai Pan. I would recommend staying at Haad Rin or something near by

The hotel is not good for the value of money.
Restaurant Tip : There was a good restaurant called "The Beach Club" and there was a very nice hotel to visit and see, The Paviman Resort.
