Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

The hotel is right on the beach and our room came with a lovely private sitting area and plunge pool also on the beach! Excellent food. Beautiful gardens.
Staff need to pay a little more attention to details. Gym could be bigger with a bit more equipment.
Having already stayed a few times on Ton Nai Pan Noi Beach, one of our favorite beaches in the world because of its beautiful sand, calm waters and few people, we were delighted to find such high quality accommodation with perfectly designed rooms on the actual beach with all possible amenities one could wish for.
The hotel has a speedboat allowing guests to arrive in comfort, style and fast from Koh Samui, the neighboring island with an international airport. Otherwise one is condemned to either a slow taxi boat to get directly on to the beach or the ferry and and unpleasant ride over a very bumpy road.
The rooms are quiet and lovely and the bed is about the best we have found in any hotel since we have been traveling for the last twenty years or so. Apple imovies are available in some of the rooms and the wireless internet, free, worked pretty much all of the time: surprising for a beach so removed from the happening spot of the island and on an island itself.
With our room came free cocktails: so sitting in our lounging area, with a small plunge pool, overlooking the beach and the ocean, under a grass roof each night with our friends, as the sun set and the sky became more and more spectacular, made such an enjoyable end to the day and perfect moment before our fabulous evening meal at the beach bistro.
The staff endeavored, successfully I might add, to accommodate our vegetarian requirements and chef 'Nick' does a wonderful job.
We loved our stay there.
Hotel Feature Tip : Take the speedboat to get directly to the hotel and the beach. The only sensible way to get there.

very high quality rooms, good service , amazing beach.
The service is too much, more than required, in some cases uncomfortable
I would recomend any one to who would like to enjoy this part of thialand to coem over and enjoy in this hotel.
The best thing about it is that its located on an amazing beach which lets you enjoy a peace of mind yet at the same time offers you excess to all that you would like if you want some excitement such as water sport and land activity of allmkinds.
The one thing that I personaly didn't enjoy from the hotel is that over service that the staff in the hotel provide which gives an uncofortable feeling at times which is way to formal for a hotel in thialand....
Restaurant Tip : the best restaurant in this location is located on the right of the hotel offering BBQ fresh fish of the day.

Before writing the actual report on our stay in Rasananda, I'd like to extend my sincere gratitude to agoda for making it all happen. Nowadays it's quite difficult to come across the true professionals and you are exactly that, so thank you.
What really surprised me about Rasananda was the fact that this particular hotel left me in some form of reviewer's limbo, whereby I neither hate nor love it. But even more strangely, I am not neutral towards it either. To be honest, it's been a week since my return, and yet I am still finding it difficult to form a conclusive opinion about Rasananda. On the one hand, this hotel does not have the obvious faults to be slammed in this report; on the other - Rasananda still has plenty to learn to acheive its full potential, and, more importantly - to bare individuality, which sorts the good from the great.
1) Arrival and departure:
There are three ways of getting to Rasananda, and to be fair, not a single one of them is perfect. If your wallet is way too heavy for hand luggage and you check it in every time you fly, you might consider getting the hotel speedboat (we did exactly that on our way back). Sure it will set you back 4500 thai bat per couple per way (to give some perspective on pricing - our business class flight from Bangkok was 1000 bat cheaper), but you won't have a single worry in the world. There is a branded Rasananda desk at Samui airport, where this can be arranged. Then a
minibus will take you to a local beachside bar, where upon consuming a couple of complimentary drinks you will board hotel's twin Suzuki-motor powered speedboat for a 30 minute trip to Rasananda's beach, drinking free Coke and
enjoying spectacular scenery fly by.
Restaurant Tip : Try the local food at a small bar, right after the burger place. If you walk out of the hotel and turn onto the main road, it would be on your right.

Calming atmosphere (essential oil lanterns in hallways!)
Free aura. Recommends further treatment based on reading.
Pool is very public. All the rooms point towards it.
We had a wonderful few days here and were treated very well. The free aura reading was fun and spa treatments were top notch.
They even have a free shuttle for you to shop your heart out at the weekend markets

Awesome beach, beautiful rooms, wonderful staff and relaxation at its finest.
Forgot to clean our room one day and then it took repeated reminders until late in the day for it to get done. Also left someone else's check out information in our room. Probably still working out the kinks.
We looked at Panviman Resort (casino by night) and Santhiya and decided this was the best of the best on this beach. We stayed for three nights and the service is outstanding. The food is excellent. Made to order breakfasts were delicious. Drinks are weak and overpriced. The room and amenities were well thought out and made for an excellent stay. Enjoyed the library, gym, kayaks, turn down service and other comforts. This a great place for couples. It's quiet and relaxing in modern Thai style. We would stay here again.
Hotel Feature Tip : Don't miss the hotel activities. Good options worth checking out.
