For a mid-priced stay, the drop-in club was good enough and overall I had a great time during my stay. The pool is a great place to hang out and meet people, but bring some CDs or an iPod with speakers down because within a few hours of day 1 you'll be sick of the music playing poolside.
- Nightlife Tip : During the full moon period, pre-drinks seem to occur poolside throughout the afternoon and early evening.

If you have heavy bags the staff will give you a lift down to the boat if you buy your ticket with them. It's worth it as it costs the same as getting it at the pier.

An easy place to relax and mingle – met people we’re still in touch with now - by the poolside during the day. Not for people who want a quiet stay – dance music is blasting across the pool from about 10:30am till late at night. The cocktails are a bit hit and miss, the food was good, despite the menu looking uninspiring.

Directions :
BY CAR:
Driving your own car, when arrive at the town of Suratthani, take Highway 401: Suratthani - Nakorn Si Thammarat and then turn left at the fork road at Tambon Bannai (in Donsak district). This is Highway 4142 leading to Donsak District. There are road signs to guide you trough to ferry jetties: Seatran Ferry, leaving for Phangan at 5: 00 a day; Raja Ferry, leaving for Phangan 4 trips a day at: 7:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 01:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m..
BY TRAIN OR BUS:
Upon arriving at Suratthani train station, you can contact the service buses at the counter available at the train station to continue your trip to Phangan. Such transportation as express boats, operated by Songserm Company and Seatran Company, or ferries, run by Seatran Company and Raja Ferry Company, are provided according to schedule. For those who prefer traveling by direct buses run between Bangkok and Koh Phangan, there are 999 buses operated by the Transport Company available 2 trips daily, one tint he morning and the other in the evening.
In case you arrive in the town of Suratthani late in the afternoon, there are night boats to leave for Phangan at 11:00 p.m. and arrive in the island at 5:00 a.m.
BY PLANE(VIA KOH SAMUI)
This is provided by Bangkok Airways. Once reaching Samui, you can ask for a vehicle to drive you to Pra Yai Pier to go on your trip to Phangan, In this case, you will arrive Phangan in the south of the island, that is on Haad Rin Beach by Haad Rin Queen, operating 4 trips a day.
