The resort provides 22 bungalows on its own small beach close to the live coral reef. The Haad Tian Beach Resort in located on the northwest of Koh Phangan, and is about a 20 minute drive to Thong Sala. The three-star resort provides guests with a large variety of activities that include kayaking, beach volleyball, ping-pong, and fishing. Guests can also have free use of their snorkeling equipment to explore the marine life among the coral reef. The onsite restaurant serves fresh seafood, curry dishes, as well as Thai, German and Western dishes.

Best feature of the hotel was its lobby, pool area. Nice view.

Poorly managed, many staff spoke no English, food was pricer than anywhere else styed in Thailand, location was very isolated therefore had to rely on hotel taxi service which was pricey, located on a beach you cant swim in due to its coral, lacked activities, very disappointing! And boring!

On first glance, this hotel looks lovely & has a 4 star feel. But within minutes you start to realize this place is not what it seems. I was not impressed. The room was of average comfort but location was nice. Everything was pricier here than any other island we had stayed on. And because you are so isolated, you have no choice but to pay. Hardly any staff spoke English, and of those who did, they conveniently didn't understand when you had a complaint to make! This place has potential, but needs new professional management and needs to offer more value for money to stay competitive. Needs to offer low cost regular taxi services into town & other activities as there is not really much to do there. Very disappointing! Would not stay here again and do not recommend to others.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : A 15 min walk from the hotel is access to Had Yao beach which is swim able, with beach front cheap dining, massage services & a good atmosphere.

I think that the hotel is very bad they do cut electricity from 10 am to 5 pm to save it what a policy.

Restaurant Tip : restaurant near by does worth it.
