If you want a lovely view of the sunset whilst relaxing with a drink and peace and quiet, then this is perfect. However everything else was satisfactory.
The hotel had a lovely View of the sunset and Ko Samui. Views to die for. Pool was nice.Only 10 min walk to Had Rin.
Staff wasn't very helpful at all. Very basic service. The rooms could have been updated a bit. Air Con didn't work, and we weren't able to use the safe. When the island had a power cut, none of the emergency lights switched on our floor and room.

this resort was... ok. having read the reviews and done a bit of research, i was expecting a little bit more - having said that, for the price it was really quite acceptable. ended up staying for a total of 10 nights - partially due to apathy and partially for the location - close to haad rin (east) but far away enough to be quiet - except when the coral bungalows next door were having a party! (3 times while we were there - loud music until the early hours of the morning!!).

Probably the best resort on Koh Pen Gan. If you feel like a bit of luxury on the party island then this is the place for you.
- Nightlife Tip : Coral Bungalows have a pool party couple of times a month and its only a five min walk down the beach.

Rent a motorbike is comfortable to island stay, but be careful for bike ride on this island.

Helps that they had an expat working the front counter. Staff was friendly and attentive.
- Nightlife Tip : Islands got every type of "moon" party. Doesn't really matter when you go!

Your right in the heart of the party but with out actually having to live at the party! its 15 mins walk to the actual beach party! next door to the warm up pool party! soo really good easy location!
The food is pretty good! and the pool was relaxing!

- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Definitely book a phangang safari, you will get to go elephant trekking, great value for money 1800baht for the day and you see all of the island. we discoved a lovely place on mae haad where we stayed after this hotel called Wang Sai...amazing...!!

People should be advised that all toilet tissue is to be placed in open container in bathroom not in bowl.
