Private, good location, clean, nice views

slight walk up to the room, people with health issues may find it a struggle sometimes.

A very nice place to stay on a very nice island. The rooms are private and are well kept and clean, the pool was nice and the only slight problem was the walk around the complex, not a huge problem but could be for someone with health problems. The views are stunning as all villa's look out onto the sea, i really enjoyed the stay.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : On a cooler day, take a walk to view point - hard work but you won't be dissappointed.

Dinner on the sand!!! and they have live entertainment on some evenings!

sewerage can be smelly in some areas!``

My wife and I spent 5 beautifull days at the Bay View Resort on Phi-Phi Island. We had cabin B211. A very large cabin with a queen size bed, a large balcony with lounge chairs and a large ensuite. the views from our bed were superb and we enjoied nice evening drinks on the balcony. the cabins are sorounded by a beautiful rain forest. we spent some time at the pool where we had nice drinks and very relaxing massages particulary we enjoied nice dinners on the beach; food was great, service and entertainment were superb. transfers to and from the Jetty went without any problems. we recommend this resort and we will be back next year.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : there is a great walk from th hotel to the top view area

Nice to be away from it all.

Expensive for what you get, but Phi Phi is more expensive anyway.

Bayview Resort is at the very end of Ton Sai Bay which isn't a problem as long as you don't mind a 10-15 minute walk into the main village to all the bars and restraunts. Quite nice to be away from it all. We sayed in a superior room (bungalow) for 5 nights. The room was clean although not the newest, but still totally fine and comfortable. Sheets and towels were clean and chaged every day. Our room was at the top of pretty steep hill which is fine as long as you don't mind the walk. We had a lovely balcony and breakfast was ok. Lots of flies but afer all it is Thailand! Pool was also good place to chill out but hotel in directly on the beach. Would stay again if returning to Koh Phi Phi.For what you get in comparison to other places i Thailand it is expensive, but all Koh Phi Phi is.

Restaurant Tip : Go into To Sai village to eat, so much cheaper than hotel

Location on the beach with stunning views and friendly staff.

The climb up the hill to our bungalow if its hot!!

I've stayed here 4 times now and never once been disappointed. The rooms are clean and tidy and good for the price on Phi Phi. I found the staff very friendly and helpful. The view across to the water are just stunning and sitting on the deck looking out across the bay is magical. The walk to the main part of the village takes about 10 minutes but easy and interesting. Massages are great but you can get cheaper elsewhere. Food is good but breakfast a little disappointing this time not much variety. Had a swim in the pool when tide was out. Small but nice

Hotel Feature Tip : Ask for a lower room if you dont like a steep walk up to your room

The location is great... not so remote so that you have to take a long tailed boat (water taxi) everywhere you want to go, but also not so close to the busiest, nosiest areas.

If you're in to sunbathing, this location is at the end of the beach where there's not much room for it.

If you're in to sunbathing, this location is at the end of the beach where there's not much room for it. Also, the bungalows are high enough so that you have a great view and are probably tsunami proof!

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : It seems like a million steps up to the view point, but the view is worth it! Also, the snorkling in the area is great, so reserve some time for this activity!

Location, restaurant on the beach, rooms were good, loved the porches on the rooms, quiet, friendly staff - just a great place.

hills are a bit steep to get to the rooms, but not awful.

We had a great time there. We went with four other families and would all go back again. The staff was really helpful, beds were good, the porches on the room were great. It rained each day in the afternoon and we were able to sit on the porch and watch. Pool is fine, beach is good with calm water for children to play. We all felt the restaurant had a good variety of items and enjoyed eating there most days. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and tasted great.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : We took the hike over to Long Beach and really enjoyed being on that side of the island as well.

Atop a hill. Spectacular view. Romantic.

The food was not great. Breakfast that was included could have been better. Either stick to Thai cooking or really try to improve on western cooking cause the hotel style was awful. Breaded chicken for breakfast was horrid, stick to "BBQ", rotisserie or just good ol' fried chicken if its gonna be part of the menu. Lacked pastries. Bacon tasted like tree bark, sausage was really hotdog.

We would stay here again despite the awful food. It was quite a hike to our room. The staff was nice and friendly and really went out of their way.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : We took the hotel speedboat all day tour (10am -3p)that the hotel offered. Sightseeing tour inc. a stop at the Viking Cave, (Ao Ling)Monkey Bay@Koh Phi Phi Don, Laem Thong Beach, and Phi Phi Ley (Maya Bay where "The Beach" was filmed). Snorkeled at Hin Klang and had lunch at Koh Mai Pai (Bamboo Island). Well worth it, pkg inc. snorkel equipment, snacks, fruits, drinks and lunch! Bring a towel(from the hotel), hat, and lots of sunscreen...even I got burnt and I'm brown. The foot massage offered along the pier are well worth the price, much better than a spa treatment I had at Sivari Spa part of Amari Hotel for a fraction of the price.

location next to beach views breakfast buffet and restaurant

pool area

what a lovely place to stay! Bayview resort is absolutley gorgeous. Our superior room was basic but modern, clean and very comfortable with a great balcony overlooking the sea. It is true that there is a steep hill to get to the bungalows but it is only short and well worth it. The staff are happy to help with heavy bags etc.. Can have own private area of beach just in front of pool or walk to long beach through the jungle (about 25 mins) which is a slightly more busy beach. Very easy to walk to town at night (5-10 mins) where there is loads of shopping and restaurants, but the hotel is not right where all the noise and other tourists are so no noise at night at all

Restaurant Tip : evening meal in the hotel restaurant on the beach is hard to beat

Perfect view over the sea and Phi Phi Leh. Nice location. Nice restaurant on the beach. Very good massage with a nice sea view.

The bungalows were a bit worn down. Not cold water in the showers.

The bungalows were a bit old and worn down. A nice 10 min walk to the stores and bars. A 15 min walk the other way is Long Beach, "the nicest beach on Phi Phi."

Great great breakfast, location, pool and staff carry your bags up to the room - which is a long way from reception and is not for the faint hearted!

its a hillside resort, so expect a hill!! We are in our 20's and were based right at the top of the hill, so great views but not worth the walk to the room! other great options on Phi Phi

Great Views of Ton Sai Bay, Secluded from walking Traffic. Quiet Beach.

Pool on Far side of Resort, Steep climb to Bungalows, Expensive.

We enjoyed our stay at Bay view, we enjoyed having a quiet bungalow as the main area is quite busy. The climb to our bungalow which was on the top row was avoided when at all possible, but worth it when you see your view. The hotel picks you up at the pier and drops you off so you don't have to drag your luggage across the island. It is about 20 minute walk to the pier from the hotel. Cheaper options are definatly available depending on your budget, nice for couples looking for piece and quiet not afraid to climb some hills. (150 yards to top row)

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Highly recommend Scuba or Discover Scuba if not certified. 3000thb approx for day trip, 2 dives, with dive master for discover scuba.

The bell boys were great

Old dirty hotel thats built on a hill that is just plain stupid. with peek a boo views.

This hotel is so dirty and rotting away. Our air conditioner did not work and the beds are so small. We asked for a room with one bed and the staff told us that we had booked a superior villa and in Thailand that means two beds. There was nothing superior about this dump. We arrived with two women in their 70's and they had them hiking up the hill. It was tough for us to get up the hill. Hotel is an exspencive dump.

Nightlife Tip : You can hear the music from the beach till 3am.

sight seeing; big balcony; quiet; Beatiful villa with very good condition inside.

too expensive in the peak season.

We spent two nights at this resort and both of us love it very much. The location is so good that it has a distance to the main road which makes it quiet at night but it is still convenient to get to the pier. The villa is so beautiful. We booked a garden view villa but we still could see the sea. It worth the money.

probably the one of the best places to stay...??! Guest Rating: 8

-only a 50meter walk along the beach to a path that takes you to the centre of town in 10 minutes. -breathtaking views (& safe from possible tsunami).. -friendly honest helpful staff. -rooms very clean (some have broken drain holes & bad bathrooms so check room first).

-beach parties 100m away keep u up till 3 am. -staff don't speak much English. - quite expensive for Thailand & you have to pay in advance.

I stayed 3 weeks over xmas & new year..totally fabulous experience..definitely want to go back to phi phi & the bay view..not a lot of things i would change except ask the hotel to get 1 person who spoke English well..food was great..rooms regularly cleaned by honest staff..

Restaurant Tip : ..don't go to the "chukit restaurant..as u really do want to "chuck it" away... Do try the beach parties, some of which u can walk to from the hotel in 3 minutes.
