Near end of Ton Sai beach so not too close to the action yet still only 10-15m walk to ferry, rooms were clean and ac was nice.

at night could still hear music from down the beach, walk from ferry can be long if have lots of bags, may want to consider longboat ride.

Near end of Ton Sai beach (last resort past school some walking on sand) so not too close to the action yet still only 10-15m walk to ferry, rooms were clean and ac was nice. Bungalows are set in the hill in 4 rows. Can be a bit steep of a walk up to rooms. To long beach its another 30m walk through the jungle otherwise 200 bhat long boat ride will get you to long beach in 5min. at night could still hear music from bar down the beach (bring ear plugs or turn up the ac), walk from ferry can be long if have lots of bags, may want to consider longboat ride. Staff at check in can be a big grumpy/short but they deal with so many tourists with unrealistic expectations i think they get a bit jaded (i would too).

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Bring mosquito repellent as their bites can be really itchy and swell up. Found ferry tickets from phuket to koh phi phi booked through travel agents with pick up can be cheaper than at the terminal(and you get a ride to ferry terminal too!)

Nice view of the beach. Nice Staff. Good Restaurant.

No sun beds.

We really enjoyed our stay at the bay view resort. The view of the bay is very nice from the hill. The hotel is not for tired legs cause the bungalows are up in the hill. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast buffe was excellent and the Restaurant was overall very good. The hot water shower worked very well. We had a view of the bay from the toilet. The cleaning was very good. If i go to Phi Phi again I will stay at bay view resort.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The sunset trip with the big boat was nice.

Nice view from balcony.

noisy, no engagement from staff, old buildings and no value for money.

This stay was as i had already read in Agoda's review, so i was not surprised. One room was so unstable that when you walk on the floor every cupboard doors open. The other room was little more expensive, that meant 900 bath extra per night and had tile on the floor, otherwise exactly the same inside. in This room it was impossible to close the bathroom door, all week. The staff has no engagement, and they missed to clean the room twice..

The location is good. Its is close enough to the beach bars but at the same time, far enough to be able to sleep at night (loud music from the bars goes on until morning hours). Very nice high ground view of the sea from all rooms.

The bungalows are build on a hill. This makes access very hard due to the steep paths to the bungalows. The bungalows are in great need of renovation. The electric plugs, appliances, furniture etc are very old and there is even "special" instructions of how to get hot water. To get hot water you need to wait 30-40 minutes after following the instructions. In my 3-night stay i got 3 minutes of hot water.

Shopping Tip : When you want to book any tour, you can get a better price from tourist agents that are not on the main road next to the sea. Always check more than one agencies and bargain the price.

Quiet location.

Rooms located on a hillside, so its a little workout to get to the top bungalows. The bungalows were not in the best condition.

Overall we had a nice stay at this hotel. Very friendly staff and a nice and quiet location. They had a good breakfast buffet and the restaurant is nice. The bungalows were not in such a great shape (our bungalow had a big hole in the floor) We also stayed in a bungalow at the top of the hillside so it could be a little bit tough to get up there. You had a great view from the bungalow porch.

Great views. Quiet area but not too far from the main village.

Can have a bit of a steep walk to the villas.

Stayed in one of the Deluxe Villas and can't complain. The villa was very nice and the views out of the window simply spectacular, probably some of the best in Tonsai Bay. It's not a bit off the main village, but still about 10 minute walk from the centre, in my opinion far enough to be quiet and close enough for when you want entertainment. If your villa is not close to reception you may have a bit of a steep walk to it. Also there is not much on the way of beach in front of the resort, there's a small beach on one said and then the main beach starts in the reception area. Just a general comment on Phi Phi, beware of the mosquitoes.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Make sure you make it to viewpoint for spectacular views of Phi Phi, but be prepared for lots of steps!

The view to sea is good.

None

I have recommended the hotel to my friends when they travel in the phi-phi island. I have traveled in the beautiful island two times. If I have chance to go there, I hope to choose the hotel too. I like the restaurant because it is close to the sea.

LOCATION - located on the edge of Phi Phi village with a GREAT SEA VIEW. The BREAKFAST was fab and catered for everyone. THAI MASSAGE on site was also great. The hotel also had its own CANOE's and very reasonably priced. Service was excellent and staff very friendly. Food generally fab. Great balcony with our delux room.

The AIR CON was loud and difficult to adjust. Also, there were two other bars nearby which on ocassions played very loud music, until @1.30am! Nobody to assist with bags when departing early, had to drag them across the beach ourselves, not ideal. Hot water only works when you have the air con on! No shampoo or shower jel which i would have expected for a hotel this price.

i would recommend this hotel for its location, view, service and food. it is a little basic but is a good three star. The price of food, massage, canoe are all very reasonable.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Definitely hire their canoe and take a trip along the coast, it is a wonderful way to travel and at B150 you cant go too wrong.

Tucked away in the furthest corner of the beach, away from main part of Ton Sai Bay but within walking distance of everything. Good restaurant....food was very tasty! Chalets built into the hillside so you get a nice view of the ocean

Rooms are a little bit run down for the price you pay....possibly similar types of accomodation for cheaper on Phi Phi. Pool seems very far away....in fact we could not find it, but didn't mind too much as we were right on the beach anyway.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bay View Phi Phi. The hotel is tucked away in one corner of the beach and is the last hotel you reach before crossing over onto Long Beach. It's far enough away from the main hustle and bustle of Ton Sai Bay, but close enough to walk in about 10 to 15 minutes. The staff were friendly, if a little busy at times, and the food in the restaurant was great. Only downside is that it is a little pricy for the quality of the rooms...they were nice but a little run down (clean though so that is a plus!) and we've travelled around Asia enough top realize that the accomodation is never at the standard you would expect in the Europe or the US. Overall a very enjoyable experience, although the next time we are in Phi Phi, I would try to find somewhere a little cheaper. Great Holiday!

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : There are many places offering snorkeling packages etc, however, best to hire a longtail taxi to take you to do this. The packages usually have many people on them and you have to stick to the itinerary. The taxi however will take you to all the same places for cheaper and you can take it at your own pace, and get to see everything you want. Longtail taxi for 3-4 hours snorkeling and sightseeing is about 1200 baht (for the boat and can fit at least 4 people)....minimum price per person on snorkeling package is 600baht/person

Quiet

A bit far from town. There are four "levels" of rooms that go up the hill. Some may find it difficult to walk up to the top level.

The resort is at the end of the beach and not a good place for the people who prefer to party as it is a 10-15 minute walk to the action of the "town" and most eating places. They are cute bungalows with nice views of the bay and little balconies. The back of the property is a hill with trees. We liked it, but were attacked by mosquitoes in the evening. Bring bug spray!

Nice view; Good Bungalows

Far from the "center"; little bit noisy

Kho Phi Phi is a nice place and this hotel a good choice to profite of this island. It's a lot of little bungalows with view on the sea. It's q little bit far from the center of the village and you have to "climb" to your room but I advice this resort.

Hotel complex well spread out over hills at the end of the bay.

Drains smelt awful at times with dirty water running over walking areas. Especially after heavy rain. Rooms need updating.

Kho Phi Phi is a small island which is now well overdeveloped. The noise from the bars went on well into the early hours, fortunately we were at the end of the bay so were not disturbed to the same extent as others. Our resort was well laid out however the paths are steep in places and this would cause some problems for a disabled person.

Travel tip : Don't go to Koh Phi Phi if you want peace and quiet.

Great restaurant, room service, great views from balcony

Decor of rooms was somewhat dated, dingy. Bathrooms were very bare, insect problems in some roms. Attention to detail is overlooked around the resort, visible sewerage pipes in some places, a lot of noise from bar/restaurant. Staff not very friendly, impersonal at times.

Overall this hotel is fine but some attention to detail on the owners part would not go amiss. For a mid range hotel they could do with redecorating the rooms and installing secure doors on the bungalows. The bathrooms left a lot to be desired, sparse facilities, and somewhat dingy. Staff were not exactly friendly, perhaps this is as a result of the resort being too big and impersonal. Fantastic restaurant and food, lovely breakfast, great selection. Lovely location far enough from town, but within walking distance. Management could consider investing in double glazing though as noise from beach bars kept us awake several times. Beautiful views from balcony. Very nice pool. Located on a hilly area, but well worth the walk for views from rooms. Initial welcome upon check in was very warm but afterwards staff were not terribly friendly.

Hotel Feature Tip : Room service is top notch for those days where you cant be bothered getting up!!

Units were in a quiet location (except for night entertainment music from nearby local venues), with gardens well maintained. The unit's rooms were clean and comfortable, and serviced regulary. Bottled water in room was sufficent, & facilities like a safe & TV worked well.

The biggest downside of the hotel complex was the smell from inedequate or faulty sewerage systems, that overflowed near walk ways at times. This was was a little disconcerting at times. A lack of clean towels on one or two days should have been managed better.

Travelling to Koh Phi Phi by public ferry, while sharing the top deck with many other travellers, was a good choice of transport. Stepping off the pier we were soon taken to the Bay View Resort by our first longtail boat ride. This was memorable. The hotel units, being seperately located on a sloping hill side over looking the bay, are within a 'garden' type setting. While not of recent construction, the units were very comfortable, clean and serviced daily. Breakfast in the restaurant, which is down at beach level, had a good selection of foods each morning and it was pleasant to be greeted by pleasant and helpful staff every morning. This hotel is one we would return to, i.e. value for money for accomodation/food/service, reasonably close to the village & shopping/entertainment area, yet far enough away to 'escape it all if desired.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Hiring a local longtail boat with owner for a 3 hour snorkling trip, down the west coast was a great experience and recommended, with many fish and coral being seen at close range. You don't have to be experienced, with dive locations being close to shore. A tip when negotiating such a hire is to ask if safety items, such as life jackets etc, will be (& are) on board.

The room is good and quiet. And the view of the room is good too.

No free internet and the charge of internet is expensive.

The room is nice and the view from the room is quite good. And the hotel's cafeteria serves the delicious foods with inexpensive prices. But the hotel has no free internet. For business man, you need to pay for the internet. Anyway, this hotel deserves to stay for the second time.
