Fantastic location, beautiful beach. The staff and service was amazing, extremely personalised and went the extra mile. The seaview bungalows were well positioned, private and well maintained. The pool was great, heaps of lounge chairs by the pool and beach (and also hammocks and lots of trees for shade). The complimentary breakfasts were extremely good - with a great selection of food.
Could do with more authentic Thai food on the menu, however luckily there is an amazing local Thai along on the beachfront - the Jasmin Restaurant(with some of the best Thai food and highly recommend the Mojitos).
The hotel beach bar could also use a good dj and some fairy lights.
This hotel totally exceeding our expectations - all of the accomodation were bungalows, giving privacy and ambience. The beachfront and seaview bungalows were well spaced and close to or on the beautiful beach. The grounds were spacious, well maintained and lots of greenery. The location s great - as you were a bit out of the hustle of Tom Sai (but could catch a long boat or ferry - about 25 min). Great snorkling and fishing spots very close by. High recommend Ian from the Gyspy Village next to hotel as long boat skipper (for fishing or snorkling).
Restaurant Tip : The Jamsin Restaurant next to the hotel on the beachfront. Amazing authentic Thai food & Peter (the Scotsman's cocktails and stories).

This hotel is a quiet retreat, well away from the crowds. The beach is wonderful. The breakfast fills you for the day!
You have to travel if you want to go to the bars at night.
The hotel is located on the best part of Phi Phi, well away from the bars and crowds. The beach and water are pristine and beautiful. The hotel staff are very friendly and the bungalows are very comfortable and roomy. We'll be coming back!

environment is quiet, room is nice, view is good, service good too
Although it is quite far from tongsai pier, the sea view there is reaaly good. The room is nice, sitting outside of the room is a good thing. The staffs there serve well and the free shake is really tasty! The only thing that may not be convenient is the tranffic between hotel and tongsai pier needs 40 min and we need to book the long tail boat in advance. I'm not sure about the price you book it from the holiday but I think must not be cheap..
Restaurant Tip : go to the north of the hotel and there are a lot of shop and bars... we didn't know this previously and we just stay in the hotel and thought there were few people...

All hotel staff are very professional and make you comfortable. They always say hello to you when you walk down in the garden which is probably a small thing but make you feel peaceful.
Swimming pool is very nice and there is a variety of other activities.
No TV in the room (not too bad actually)
We stayed in the hotel for 5 days. When we arrived, the hotel staff came up to the shore and picked up our luggages and put them to our room.
Sunset bar is really nice though drinks are pricey a bit. All in all, we'd like to come back here sometime soon again!

Great location, good facilities, personal touches
Expesive internet and dinner buffet
We spent 2 days at this hotel and really enjoyed out stay. The rooms are a bit dated but clean and comfortable, the facilities are good, the pool was great, the staff always helpful.
Only downsides were the dinner buffet (sooo not worth it - relatively expensive and not as tasty). There are some good little restaurants serving wonderful seafood BBQs and other local dishes in the sea gypsy village right next to the hotel for half the price -- next time, I would eat all my meals there! The hotel's beachside cabana restaurant was also good and not too high priced.
All in all, a great hotel at a great location - Phi Phi is to die for! Perhaps what I liked best was a complimentary jar of home made cookies in our bedroom the first night - beautiful touch :)
Hotel Feature Tip : The hotel provides a longtail boat transport to/from the Tongsai Bay pier for 150 baht per person -- a much better deal than arranging your own longtail boat ride, which won't go for much less than 800 baht!

Beautiful location, perfect beach, great staff, great breakfast, sea gypsies are very close and friendly.
Expensive for food and other necessary products. Water pressure in shower is weak.
The bungalows are not new but really comfortable. We had a great time staying there and would really like to go there again. Its very quiet here, and no loud music at night which can plague other parts of Thailand. The beach is a short walk from the bungalow area and really is perfect. White sand, clear water and not many people made us really feel like we were in paradise. The breakfast buffet was massive, so much quality food to choose from. Everything from tropical fruit, rice and noodles, bread all the way to British style baked beans!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Instead of the hotel trips, go and speak to the sea gypsies right next to the hotel. They offer the same trip much cheaper. Also they have tabacco and other things you might need much cheaper than the hotel prices.

Drink at check in, pool, bars, activities
The watersports bar being owned by another company and not as good
When we first arrived we booked for only 1 night, we had such a lovely welcome that we decided to book for 2 more nights. Only draw back is the watersports staff being rude, we complained and got a free drink which was nice. Room was clean and area was out of the way but for 700 baht return for shopping trip to main pier. Friendly staff, choice of bars and restaurants and activities
Nightlife Tip : If you want nightlife stay at the main pier eg another hotel as this hasn't got much nightlife as it is more geared to honeymooners and people wanting to get away from it all

Beautiful Bars, Swimming Pool, Activities
Watersports bar, ran by a different company and could do with a bit more training as 1 activity - boat trip to mala bay almost spoiled our stay.
When we first arrived we wasnt sure what to expect, it is a bit further out than the main pier (another 2 stops) if your coming from Phuket Town. The hotel however exceeded expectations. Other reviews advised about not having a tv in the room, but being on a desert island you can kind of expect it not to be as civilized as the main land. There was a lovely sunset bar which overlooked the whole ocean and a lot of sports facilities to get back into shape after sunbathing on the almost deserted beach.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you are deciding on going on a trip ensure that the waves are completly still, as it wasnt even that bad conditions and the longtail boat made us feel sick.

beautiful setting
top beach
great restaurants (for fresh fish and thai food not western)
longboats on tap
isolated somewhat - but overcome with a 20 minute longtail which is kindof worth it in itself
Phi Phi has changed.
gone is the quaint town and views on Tonsai.
So come here for a true get away from it all experience. No-one to disturb you, private beach, staff that can't help but look after you, great views, sunrise on one side of the island and a short 5 min walk to see sunset on the other.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : befriend a local longtail driver called Wan.
he's fantastic and can take you to the best places around phi phi for snorkelling
also only eat the fresh fish at the a la carte restuarant. They cook it however you wish (seriously) and can help with whatever local meal you'd like. stay away from the fresco fruit wine though!

The location is lovely and the people we met in the area were as well.
We stayed here for 3 days and had a wonderful time. Our bungalow was very near the beach and was adequately equipped. The highlights for me were a boat trip around the local islands and watching the sunset at the Sunset Bar. By hiring the boat at the beach we got an excellent deal and spent some 7 hours touring the islands for around £45. Having the boat to ourselves was very romantic and really matched the whole feeling of the islands. We would certainly return here.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Hire a boat locally and enjoy the wonderful snorkelling and islands.

- Nice View and nice environment
- Friendly staff
- Comfortable bed and pillow
- Various of outdoor activities to choose from
- No TV
- Small swimming pool
- Should provide more entertainments/indoor activities in the hotel
- Less food choices in both restaurant menu
- Less food choices in the breakfast, perhaps different kind of breakfast food daily
- Walkway to my room is dark
- Massage environment is not good to me, may be not clean enough
- Hope to have bathtub with the price i paid for
I am not critic the hotel but the room that I am paying for. The beachfront bungalow that I am paying for is not value for money in my point of view. I don't expect the room is so 'empty' when I arrived, I expect something different by choosing Holiday Inn with this beachfront bungalow price. I might be big size (Height: 6’7”, Weight: 83kg, u figure yourself) to use the shower area which I can easily pay on the wall and shower curtain when I was trying to turn around in the shower area.
I am not certain about the other hotels offer, but Holiday Inn offer various of outdoor activities for customer. My wife and me have 4 hours trip in the first day and another 4 hours trip & 2 hours fishing trip in the second that really bring recreation and relaxation to us. Whereas, the indoor activities/entertainment is less, no TV, small swimming, only few games in the leisure room even the snooker table and cue have no maintenance.
Anyway, the staff especially the long-tail boat drivers are worth od praise. They are very friendly, enthusiastic, very helpful and always put us as their first priorities which I am very much appreciated.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Mosquito Island is a must to visit as there has a beautiful coral. Swimming in Phi Leh is my most enjoyable time in the trip.
Try the Tom Yam soup in both restaurant either if you are Tom Yam soup lover.
