Actually a three star experience for the price

There is no 24 hour room service. It ends at midnight. The shop closes at eleven. And there is no mini bar. So, if you wake up with jet lag after twelve, you cannot get a drink. In the fridge, there is a notice saying: expensive mini bar, no! Just buy at the shop. The shop's prices are more than the mini bars of most high end resorts in Phuket. I do not appreciate being treated as an idiot, nor do I accept this lame excuse for a lack of a basic service which one expects from a resort which claims to have four stars.

My friends and I had a fabulous time!!! The staff was very friendly and the layout of the hotel was very easy to get around - nothing was too far to walk too. We had such a relaxing stay. It was a perfect holiday destination.

if you want to relax is the perfect place to stay. it is aboyt 30 mins away from de central area of the island, where de bars and restaurants are.
the hotel is very nice, the service is great. no free wifi though.

Loved my stay and would like to stay longer - very relaxing.
You need to organise your ferry transfers as our turned out to be stressful, maybe let the hotel organise it for you when booking.

Great location but unfinished room

Arrival experience was not so impress as it took some time for someone to assist me and finally forgot to return my passport which I need to come and collect by myself. Then, when I reach the room everything was fine except in the outdoor shower area which has not been complete yet, there's a big square empty space next to it and no cover at all as it might cause some serious accident. After that the room service is totally unprofessional as when I called to order, in hotel compendium listed to dial 617 or 618 which icehouse to call the first number and somebody pick up the phone and tell me to dial 618 without offering any assistance to transfer the line. The only good things here is the restaurant and bar which keeps me out of my frustration about all what I've been through and I would say that this is not a pleasant stay for me at all, I hope management should do something because the room rate isn't that cheap and you should match up your service up to the standard.
P.S. Should provide more buggy service to/from villa to other outlet
Restaurant Tip:
Try a seafood at Chaba restaurant, it's very fresh and tasty.
Enjoy the sunset view with your favorite cocktail at the sunset bar.

Great relaxing location - lovely clean rooms.

i booked through agoda after arriving the previous day at inappropriate accom. got to holiday inn phi phi the next morning and was total swept into relaxation. staff were friendly, the king garden bungalow was large, very clean, comfortable and so peaceful - away for everything, in lush garden surrounds. dinner was pleasant, but the beach was the absolute high light for me. they can organise any trips you require for sightseeing, snorkling etc. would definitely go back with my partner.
Travel tip:
As traveling solo I could have been slightly overwhelmed by all the couples - but this is a place that you can easily relax at & not feel as if you are standing out. Great place to unwind, beautiful beach, water, but don't expect a raging night life. It is just a great place to chill out and reflect on how lucky we are to visit beautiful places such as this.

Location is good on the best stretch of beach on this part of the island. Long stretch of peaceful, shallow water is good for swimming and snorkelling with colorful fish.
Rooms are not great for the price. Very limited (non-beach) entertainment. No internet and very limited complimentary water. Food wasn't fantastic. Also you lose almost a day of vacation getting to and from there since the hotel doesn't operate a direct speedboat from Krabi or Phuket.
