Somewhat isolated with great activities and views

We had a beautiful, private bungalow with a short walk to the beach that had beach chairs and hammocks. The beach was stunning and clean. The pool was really fun, and it had a water slide. There are some stores with lower prices just behind the resort, but we really enjoyed our guide at the resort for the snorkel trips. The shark seeker snorkel tour was a trip highlight! We also ate at the hotel for lunch and dinner. The food was pretty good and they made vegan options that weren't on the menu. Some oddities: there was no bathroom door and no lotion in the set of amenities. It also took a long time to check in following the ground transportation, ferry and long boat. We landed in Krabi airport at about 1:30pm and finally settled in the hotel around 5pm. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here.

Awesome Hotel but a bit overpriced for what it is

The location is great! probably one of the best settings in Thailand. The hotel food and trips are far too expense i would rather go eat and book trips via the village behind it which is what we did!
The bathroom in the rooms are a bit outdated and limited but you pay for where the hotel is located and the service is faultless.
Restaurant Tip:
Pad Thai in the village behind - AMAZING and cheap and has a nice vibe!

The hotel is very nice and the facilities / room are good for the price you pay. However, we found the service not very good for the standard and the price in Thailand (we've been living in Thailand for 4 years now and this hotel has a poor service compared to others for the same price). Food is very average and expensive. If you're a tourist and do not know Thailand, then you will be amazed, otherwise you will find this average.

The bungalow rooms were charming. The breakfast was dee-lish, and for dinner there are few native places behind the hotel that were fabulous and inexpensive. The pool next to beach is great. (Read a good book while I was there: D.A. Diaries from Amazon.) If you can swing it, I recommend renting a speed boat and hitting some of the local island-beaches.

Really enjoyed our stay at Phi Phi Island Village Beach Resort & Spa. The beach is very shallow, so we didn't spend much time swimming, but we did use the pool a lot. The restaurants were good, but considering the cost compared to the village behind it, we generally ate at the village restaurants. We spent 4 days there with our 2 teenage daughters - the staff was very good. The grounds are beautiful. My only complaint was dealing with the jungle... a scorpion in my daughters bed. No kidding. Ants, giant millipedes. And, when you left the resort and trekked to the other side of the island, I was amazed at how littered it was. This is from the locals - not tourists.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
It is absolutely essential that you hire a longboat to take you around the islands and do some snorkeling. It was so fun and the highlight of the trip.

Perfect resort for travellers looking for some quiet time as your are on a secluded beach unable to travel away from the resort at night unless you get a taxi boat from the town. The swimming pool is fantastic, great facilities on the whole.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Don't expect to leave the resort regularly in the evenings, so great excuse to relax!!

Fantastic stay, too good... Very nice interiors. Wonderful hospitality. Many restaurants are there, being vegetarian we didn't had any problem for food.
Decoration in the room was great and got cake too with candles lit up. Nice trip to Maya bay planned by recreation centre.
Should not miss this resort. Its like dream come true!!!!
