The rooms where clean and spacious, the staff is very friendly, we dealt with Mario and Song at the dive shop, these guys are great!
The tractor ride from the shore to the water line during low tide is quite bumpy, you are better off walking, it is a nice walk!

As soon as we arrived at their private resort beach, we knew our 3 nights there would be wonderful. And they truly were! I can confidently say it is the best place for honeymooners in Thailand. But staffs dont seem to understand English sometimes and food is too expensive.

Beautiful location, You will need to have a lot of patience to get here though, a long ferry ride then a twenty minute long tail boat ride then a tractor to shoreline.

Can relax but so far away

Over all it was a nice resort, but considering the time to the resort and money , it was below our expectation.
1st of all, it was too far away from Bangkok. We took an airplane and reached Pooket, then took a taxi to harbor and took a ferry boat to PhiPhi finally took a long tail boat to the resort.
We left Sukhumvit at06:30AM and reached the resort at04:30PM.
2ndly unfortunately weather was not very good , we enjoyed beautiful ocean only by 1 day during my 4-day-stay.
We rent a long tail boat and went to Bang Boo Island, and enjoyed snorkeling one day.
We can see some fish, but not many as we can see in Okinawa Japan . For other days, we can only swim in the pool when it was not raining
Nothing else we can do if weather was no good. The swimming pool was not so bad, we can enjoy with my kid.
3rd, Regarding to food, there were not many choices in Resort, Thai ,Grill restaurant, Room service. We used Grill restaurant 2 times, taste-so-so,
Not many kind of crab and fish because it is a isolated island.

Good place but not value for money

We were at Outrigger for two nights after which we proceeded onto Koh Lanta where we stayed at Coco Lanta which was one-fifth the price of Outrigger and frankly, I did not find too much of a difference between the two - save for the breakfast.
I would say, it is overrated and definitely not value for money.
After paying 250$ per night from the room, the least you would expect is a transfer from the peir to the hotel for which they charged an additional 10$ per person.
Same is the case with their menu. Definitely the menu was over priced and you could get much tastier food right outside the resort in the local village for far lesser prices.
All in all - great location but the service and the value they provide for your money are a big dampener. I don't think I would go back to this place again.
