cool little place

A peaceful getaway

we (a couple of 31 and 34) stayed at casita during our christmas vacation 2010. we had a really nice time and found the hotel was just as nice as we could hope. the friendly staff and the peaceful atmosphere and the lush scenery is just wonderful. it is possible to choose a peaceful night in watching tv or a night out with the phi phi "city life" just round the corner. the beach is less than 2 minutes away and the same goes for the center regarding to shopping and bars ect. we really recoment this place for everyone who want's the best of their stay on phi phi.
Restaurant Tip:
Please do your self a favor and visit the Garlic Restaurent. It is just down the road of the hotel and the food and the people working there is what Thailand is all about!

Beautiful Island Hotel but rooms are a bit small

There were issues checking in and the reception staff were a little grumpy but the rest of the staff were pleasant and the rest of the stay went smoothly. The rooms were a bit small but they were clean. If I had to go back I would probably stay at the same place but get the bigger accommodation available. Pool was pretty amazing and the cocktails at the bar were well made.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The half day long tail boat tours are amazing!!

loved the hotel, but the air con blows right on you in bed!! too hot off, or freezing while it is on! the location is great but not great for sleeping since you here the super loud music from the beach until really late in the morning!! all the fire shows are really close which is great but not when you are done!!
